What we cover:

- The Home Base: Creating calmness at the crate, the front door, and the garden gate. If they’re "blown" at the door, the walk is already over.

- Engagement Games: Teaching your dog to choose you over the environment.

- Pressure & Release: Understanding the lead as a communication tool, not a tow rope.

- The Art of Calm: Teaching your dog how to simply "exist" in the world without pulling toward it.

We introduced placeboards to our pet and working gundog clients over 8 years ago, since then, other local trainers have seen the great benefit our clients get in using them early in a pup's training, and have now introduced them into their own training.

We work on gundog-related exercises, etc, including retrieving, general obedience in a relaxed, friendly environment.

You do not need to be working your dog in the shooting field or have any intention of to join our Pet Gundog Classes.

...uses corrections, then there's one for you.
...only uses positive reinforcement, then there's one for you.
...that has lots of certificates, then theres one for you.
...that has years of 'hands on experience', then theres one for you.
...that tells it to you straight, then there's one for you.
...that tells you what you want to hear, then there's one for you

You name what you want there will be a trainer out there somewhere for you that can help you.

But I doubt one trainer can or wants to be all of the above to all people.

Dog trainers have their OWN niche which suits THEIR client base, and that's all that should matter!
