Having been involved with dog training for 30 years starting off by taking my collie Jess to pet classes I got the bug to train and became hooked on competitive obedience. My hobby/passion has taken me all over the country, even Australia and have subsequently met hundreds of like minded people.
Finding the key to each dog and developing a friendship/partnership to me is what it’s all about.
My dogs over the years have varied in temperament and I have been very lucky. The ultimate reward being gaining reserve (2nd) twice and then winning the Crufts obedience championships in 2009 with Millie.
Dog training, which is really handler training, is an ongoing phenomenon with ideas and methods changing and evolving.
