I initially started my career within the Metropolitan Police Service for eight years, which taught me how to be an adult and grow up fast! This directed me to jobs where I investigated Anti-Social Behaviour for housing providers. Having dealt with a lot of difficult situations and people who are challenging this had guided me towards a complete change of career, a career where I can feel completel

y at home and happy. I know that seeing a new paw friend everyday would make my heart happy and bring me contentment and joy. There is no feeling like knowing an animal is happy to see you, and wants to spend time with you. I have always loved animals and growing up I have had the pleasure of many perfect paws gracing my life. We currently have two beautiful cats called Howie and Toby, who have already brought us five years of happiness. Howie is a Bengal and really is like a real life tiger (and he knows it!!) Whilst Toby is a typical male cat, very affectionate and loving, as long as he is getting a cuddle - he is happy! More recently we have adopted a dog from the streets of Romania and he is now known as Freddie. Freddie now has the happiness of a home, a bed, food & water, and endless love and cuddles. It has been very challenging trying to teach Freddie to adapt to “normal life” as we know it, but every difficult moment has really paid off, we now have a very happy and healthy Freddie. These boys mean the world to us and I would love to make other animals feel as happy as they are. Fully Insured - Public Liability

Hello lovely followers, As you all know I started my new venture in Jan and I’d really appreciate if all my kind followers would support me in this by following and liking my page Zen Driving School - Laura Smith

Hello!!! How are all my doggies doing without me?

It’s been an interesting start to the year and I’m absolutely knackered, but I am absolutely loving my new career choice (especially with the weather!) missing walking and my doggies of course.

If any of you would be so kind to pass my details onto anybody wishing to start lesson I’d be forever grateful. Keep an eye out for me on the roads, and don’t get too close 😂

🐾 End of an era!!! 🐾

Well what can I say, today was my final walk with my paw babies (as part of Smiths Tails anyway!) and it’s all over!. 5 years of embracing all kinds of weather, various dog behaviour, varying dog personality’s and many other valuable lessons I’ve learnt!

There have been tough moments, happy moments, lonely moments, accidents, dogs running off, dogs swiping me over, dogs bringing me dead squirrels and rabbits (thanks Kate for saving me every time 😂) cute cat visits, endless cuddles but most of all there has been deep love and affection for all these animals I have been trusted with.

It has been one amazing journey and one i am so thankful that I’ve been on. Thank you to every single one of you who have used my services over the past 5 years, you truly made a small businesses thrive and for that I’ll be forever thankful.

Now from animals to humans (what am I thinking!) “The road is long, with many winding turns….”.

With deep sadness and love always, but with endless happy memories in the bank….

5️⃣ Years of Smith’s Tails!

If somebody said to me all those years ago, you will take a leap of faith into the unknown and conquer your every dream, I’d have laughed in their face because I knew I wasn’t that brave. Turns out I was that brave and I smashed my every desire!

Now 5 years on it is time to embrace a new beginning and say goodbye to my beautiful paw family. It has been a very hard decision but I am extremely excited and proud of my hard work and what’s to come!

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank my loyal clients who have stuck by me through some of the hardest times and trusted me with your family. As you know they are my family and I will be seeing them as often as I can (I need to get my steps in somehow now!!!). Thank you to everybody who has supported my businesses throughout the 5 years, it means the world. Thank you to those who have been so extremely understanding and sending such heartfelt messages that have brought tears to my eyes!

My last day is Friday 16th December. I leave with a heavy heart but many many many happy memories, moments and pawprints in my heart that will stay with me for the rest of my life.

Now let’s enjoy the last week of doggy walks!
