We have been keeping chickens for many years, they are very easy and a lot of fun. Chickens make excellent pets and supply you with your very own free range eggs. It is a really rewarding hobby which will keep you fascinated, and they make a great addition to any back garden.

A huge thank you to every single one of you who has followed our journey, liked, shared, commented, visited us, bought from us or recommended us to friends and family. Your support really does mean the world to our little family business.

When we started Charlotte's Chickens, we never imagined we'd build such a lovely community of people who share our passion for chickens and helping others discover the joy of keeping them.

Whether you've been with us from the beginning or you've only just found our page, thank you for being here. We love sharing our hens, offering advice, meeting so many wonderful customers and seeing your own flocks thrive.

☀️🐔 Hot weather is here! Keep your hens happy and healthy by providing plenty of fresh, cool water, shaded areas to relax, and some tasty treats like watermelon or cucumber. 🍉🥒

Why not make them some fruit and vegetable ice lollies too? Simply freeze their favourite treats in water for a fun way to help them stay cool! 🧊🍓🫛🌽💦

Remember, hens can struggle in extreme heat, so check on them regularly and make sure they have somewhere cool to escape the sun. ❤️🐓

As it’s half term we’ll be open today – Tuesday 26th May from 10am–2pm ☀️

Come and meet our lovely Pygmy goats Salt & Pepper 🐐🐐 and say hello to our beautiful flock of chickens 🐓✨ including our Silkies, Bantams, Polish, Frizzles and of course our big girls too! 💛
No charge to visit 😊
🛍️🐥 All we ask is that you support us with a little visit to the shop while you’re here. Alongside all the usual chicken and small animal supplies 🐔🌾 we also stock delicious goodies including 🍯 honey, 🥜 peanut butter, 🍫 chocolate, 🌿 herbal teas and some of our own homegrown produce too 🥚🥬💚
