After the horses and cows have eaten most of the grass in the "home" field that we let them out into in May, it was time to open up the next two fields as the grass was ready - at last!

Yesterday was an extremely busy day as not only did we have 26 x 20 TON lorry loads of muck taken away, but we also opened up the River and West fields to let the gang have access to fresh grazing

Last year some of the residents from our local residential home visited the sanctuary. It was a very emotional day for many who thought they would never be able to get close to big animals again

Recently Fiona visited the residents as part of their adopt a pet (soft toy) scheme which went down very well. See the details on our FB page

Petunia the Piglet is looking for friends to adopt her from just £1 a month

Saved from being shot on a petting farm a few weeks ago as she was a runt and with a slight heart murmur was considered unfit for breeding
