Hector the Australian Labradoodle visited The Dog Shop for his regular grooming appointment.

Hector enjoyed a relaxing bath using For All DogKind Shampoo, leaving his coat beautifully clean, soft, and fresh. His groom included a full brush through, blow dry, nail trim, ear clean, and a carefully tailored styling groom.

For this visit, Hector’s legs were hand scissored to create a beautifully balanced finish, while his head has been left longer as we continue to grow it out towards a more traditional Cobber Dog style. ✂️🐶 This allows us to develop the fuller, softer facial furnishings that are characteristic of the breed while maintaining a neat and practical overall appearance.

Hector was a pleasure to groom as always and is looking fantastic as his coat continues to develop into that classic Cobber Dog look. 💕

A fresh new look for Jarvis! 🐾✨

Jarvis, our handsome Cockerpoo and one of our lovely regular clients, visited The Dog Shop for his grooming appointment today.

For this visit, we opted for a slightly different style, creating a shorter, rounder muzzle to give Jarvis a gorgeous teddy bear look. 🧸✂️ The softer finish really enhances his expression and leaves him looking extra cute.

⚠️ Important Notice from The Dog Shop Grooming Salon ⚠️

The cabin was lovely and cool this morning, however by 3 o’clock the temperature had risen to an unbearable 38°C. Unfortunately, this is not safe or comfortable for the welfare of the dogs in our care, which always has to come first. 🐾

I will keep everyone updated throughout the day, and I am more than happy to reschedule any appointments where needed.

Thank you all for your understanding and support during this hot weather. Please keep your own dogs cool and hydrated too. ☀️

Another handsome visitor to the salon… ✂️🐾

Jake visited The Dog Shop for a full de-shedding groom and coat treatment.

Jake enjoyed a deep cleansing bath using BLOWN AWAY – Salon De-Shedding Treatment Shampoo, specially formulated to help lift dead coat, reduce shedding, and leave the coat fresh, clean, and healthy. He was also treated with SILKIFY – Canine Hair & Body Oil to nourish the skin and coat while adding shine and softness. ✨

His appointment included a full brush through, bath, blow dry, undercoat removal, de-shedding treatment, nail trim, and a tidy trim to leave him looking smart and feeling comfortable. Border Collies can hold a huge amount of loose coat, making regular de-shedding treatments ideal for keeping coats manageable and healthy.

Jake was a pleasure to groom and left the salon looking very handsome, soft, and fresh. 🐶🛁
