Looking for a new home ! Perfect mother /daughter share.

Sindy is 10yo, welsh cob D with really good bloodline. She's been used as a broodmare by previous home, and I purchased her unbacked 3 years ago and she was pregnant. After having had her last foal, she had time to recover and been brought into work in april 2025. Since then she took everything in her stride.

She has done a bit of everything low level. Hacking out, jumping, hunting, cross country.... Although her thing is deffo jumping / hunting ! She is safe and sensible. She has been ridden by kids and beginners and never put a foot wrong. She is still a forward ride though. But not spooky. She is a timid kind and can suffer with separation anxiety. So hacking out alone needs a bit of encouragement for example... She'd do great in dressage if you are more experienced and can teach her as she's still green in that discipline.

Unfortunately she's too small for me and although I love her to pieces I cannot justify to keep her.

She'll be a fun little mare for someone who wants to compete and have fun ! Although she'll be happy to hack all day long if with another horse ! Above mid four.

Today, the horse world lost a truly remarkable horseman. 🤍

Around 20 years ago, I discovered Monty Roberts, and looking back, I realise just how much of an influence he had on the path I would eventually take with horses.

He was one of the first people who made me truly curious about horsemanship — about looking beyond simply riding a horse, and instead, trying to understand them, communicate with them and create a genuine partnership built on trust.

Over the years, my own horsemanship has evolved. I’ve continued to learn from many different people, experiences and, most importantly, from the horses themselves. I’ve embraced some things he taught us, questioned others, and ultimately developed my own way of working — one that continues to change and grow as I do.

But that doesn’t take away from where it all began.

Monty was a huge name in the world of horsemanship and an incredible horseman who inspired countless people to look at horses differently. Some of the things I learnt from him 20 years ago are still part of the foundations of how I think about horses today, even if my methods have changed along the way.

He may be gone, but the curiosity he sparked, the conversations he started and the knowledge he shared will continue to live on through the countless people and horses he influenced.

Thank you, Monty, for being one of the people who first opened my eyes to the idea that there could be so much more to horsemanship than simply telling a horse what to do.

Your legacy will live on in all of us who continue to learn, question, evolve and — above all — try to understand the horse. 🕊️🐴

Rest peacefully. You will not be forgotten. 🤍

Sooooo .... today is Missy's official 320th day of pregnancy ! And I can totally see the changes in her body, she's carrying the foal a lot lower, the croup has softens, the teats are fuller day by day, and she started waxing today ! (Even dripping...) the PH is very close to 6,4 !!!! So we are now on high alert ! EXCITING 🤩

Honestly ! This is probably Jake's only 15th ride since begining of backing and look at that cracking little pony ! Taking the lead on his SECOND ridden hack in trot like he's done it all his life.

You see, THIS is how important it is to spend as much time on the ground as you can before backing. As the owner have been spending loads of time in hand and long reining on the roads prior to sending him to me and that makes my job SO EASY 🤩🤩 what a confident little pony that makes him !

Now it's only going to be about building his strength/fitness and he'll soon be ready for canter which I'm sure will be a non-event.

This little pony will now be looking for a full loan home ! If you're interested PM me ;)

First hack off the lead rein, Jake absolut super star 🤩 will be a brilliant pony for kids, just need a few more miles under saddle. If anyone is interested to get him on full loan please let me know !

Little Jake now safe enough for teeny Violet to walk and trot 🥰
