I've been busy studying, Kip's official job today was staying cool! 🧊🐾

I sliced up a bit of cucumber, dropped it in a bowl of cool water, and let Kip work her brain trying to fish it out.
A super simple, zero-calorie way to keep her hydrated, cool, and mentally stimulated without overexerting her in the heat. 🧠✨

Hello, furiends 🐾

Seeing lots of new faces around recently made me realise many of you might not actually know what Kipcakes is, so I thought I'd properly introduce ourselves. 💛

Kipcakes is a small artisan dog bakery based in the beautiful village of Ellastone, nestled between Staffordshire and Derbyshire.

We specialise in personalised dog treats and letterbox-friendly gift boxes designed to help celebrate the dogs who are very much part of the family.

Everything is baked in small batches using simple ingredients, eco-friendly packaging and plenty of love.

And the inspiration behind it all?

A fox red Labrador called Kip, who takes her role as Chief Taster extremely seriously. 😆🐾

Happy Bank Holiday Monday! ☀️

It's been a scorching 32°C here today, which means the Kipcakes ovens were strictly OFF and we were on shade-hogging duty. 🧊🐾

While we stayed cool, Mum and I have been putting the finishing touches on a brand new celebratory gift box that we know you are going to love. We are officially unveiling it next week, so keep your eyes peeled!

🎂🐾 Happy 5th Birthday to my beautiful girl, Kip 💛

Five whole years of muddy walks, rabbit-hole investigating, snack obsession, sofa snuggles, and being my shadow through absolutely everything.

This lovely girl is the reason Kipcakes exists at all. What started as me wanting to make her natural, gentle treats for her sensitive tummy slowly turned into this little bakery built around celebrating dogs properly 🐶🍪

Life has been a bit full on lately, but one thing that never changes is how grateful I am for her — and for all of you who are still here following along with us. It means the world to us 🌎

Today has been all about her favourite things:
🐾 very soggy countryside walks
🐾 treats
🐾 fuss
🐾 naps
🐾 and more treats, obviously 😌
