Rainmaker Rattery - Stud We are a small NFRS registered rattery based on the East Midlands/West Midlands border.

We Breed primarily for Burmese, Russian Burmese and wheaten Burmese but often have related varieties of Siamese, Blue Point Siamese and Russian Wheaten. "The National Fancy Rat Society maintains a list of its members’ ratteries and studs as a convenience for the public but does not endorse any rattery or stud, whether registered or not, and accepts no responsibility for any rats bred by me nor any other breeder."

Lots of preparation going on behind scenes for the big day! 🥳

We would love to see you there! After party starts at 6:30pm until 10:00pm.

We have games and tombola.
Some fantastic prizes to be won! Buffet is being provided by the MRC in the evening. Please bring your own alcohol if you wish to drink. Soft drinks will be provided.

An ice cream van will be coming in the afternoon, so bring some pennies!

We’ve had a lot going on behind the scenes recently. We have two small litters of ‘golden things’. One litter is currently with a foster due to a non-cooperating mother, but they have thrived with their surrogate mum.

The plan going forward here is to drop the Burmese and breed the Wheaten Burmese with Golden Himalayan.

The problem is… our last two Wheaten x Burmese litters have given us nothing but Burmese.🤔

Today I attended National Fancy Rat Society show in Edenthorpe. It made a nice change to attend a show and not have a job.

We came home with two rosettes.
