In danger of sounding a bit grumpy, I have to mention “No Shows” and “Late Cancellations”!
We send registration forms with our T&C’s, confirmation of appointments by text and email and 48hr text and email reminders. Our cancellation period is 24hrs, however I have a cancellation list and will endeavour to fill a space avoiding someone having to pay a fee.
In the last two days we have had 5 dogs not show up. This has cost the business around £280 the cancellation fees have not been paid. With staff and runnings costs (and list people waiting for an appointment) this impacts a small business. We do our best to accommodate all customers. Please let me know if you cannot make an appointment.
However, to the customers who show overwhelming loyalty, we love you all 🩵🐾

Nearly all dogs stay with us for minimum of 2-2.5hrs to be groomed.
A dog might be quicker or longer for the following reasons:
🔹They are very knotty or matted
🔹They are very overdue
🔹They have a big coat that takes longer to prep
🔹They have behavioural issues
🔹They are very young or elderley
🔹Or a dog prior to yours
has any of the above.
All dogs are treated as individuals and are bathed, prepped and rested before styling.
Please do not “pop in” to see if they are nearly ready, as this stressful for a dog to see you before we have finished the groom and makes a groomer feel very pressured.
We do not keep a dog longer than necessary and if they are distressed whilst they are resting between prep and finish they are seen as a priority to finish and get home. Dogs are generally happy with the way we do things.
