Chester is continuously improving with his fear of the drier. The drying process plays a vital role in determining the final look of your groom. A straighter coat allows for more precise cutting and styling, resulting in a more polished appearance. With Chester’s continuous improvement in the drying process, I can start to focus more attention to giving him fluffy teddy bear look 🧸🐩

He is such a sweet natured boy and I look forward to our grooming sessions together. (even if he does run when he sees me) 🙈😂

Poppy & Mable visited for their first ever grooms with me.
Unfortunately they had a few hidden matts which meant I needed to take their coats a little bit shorter than planned. I think they still look beautiful.

Rodney visited for his first puppy groom. Although he found the experience a bit overwhelming at times, we made sure to proceed at a slow pace, providing him with plenty of positive reinforcement. Rodney’s wriggly nature posed some challenges during the grooming process, but his undeniable adorableness made it all worthwhile🥰

Ps. Sorry I have been so quiet on here. I had some time off due to being bitten on my thumb, which meant I was unable to hold my scissors! Just catching up on posts and messages now so if you haven’t heard from me, sorry! I will be replying today. ( FYI The bite was not from Rodney!)😂

I have been grooming Lilly for some time now. Recently, she had an operation which required a period of healing before her next grooming session. Unfortunately, during this time she developed some matted fur. As a result, we had to trim her ears and legs shorter than usual to prevent any discomfort caused by pulling on the matted fur.
I believe she still looks as beautiful as ever ❤️

Only 16 weeks old, came in for their first-ever grooming session today. I approached each part of the groom slowly, rewarding them with treats and praise. Luckily, they are foodies, so this really helped 😂
Was very hard to stayed focused on the grooms with all their puppy cuteness!!🥰

A 17-year-old rescue boy,
I had previously tried to groom Wilf with no luck due to his severe anxiety.
He recently lost his sight & hearing and can be confused at times, which made the grooming process even more frightening for him.

To make things easier for Wilf, I suggested doing the grooming session at his home. This way, he could be in a familiar environment with familiar smells and surroundings, which would help ease his anxiety. To make him even more relaxed, Wilf’s owner got some sedation from the vet-this helped keep him calm during the grooming session.

With his help of his owner, we managed to get the job done successfully. It might not have been the most perfect or pretty groom, but Wilf is now free from matts, and his nails are trimmed to a comfortable length. This will definitely make him feel more comfortable and happy.

Isn’t he cute?!

I have been grooming Chester for some time now, he can be quite nervous, especially during the drying process. Today we tested out a happy hoody. Happy hoodies are used to cover the dog’s ears and help reduce noise and wind from the dryer, ultimately reducing stress in the dog. Chester managed this much better than previous grooms.

He even took a treat from me after the groom, which he had not previously done before!!

Continuously trying to Build trusting relationships with the dogs we work with is crucial in the grooming process.

I have had the pleasure of grooming Lola for quite some time now. She is an incredibly delightful and sweet-natured girl. Given her age, we have made adjustments to the grooming process in order to minimize standing time and leg movement, this reduced any discomfort she may experience but still able to contribute to her wellbeing by completing the groom. Can you believe Lola is nearly 15 years old!!😍
