Some of our agility dogs having fun today! 🤩
I didn’t manage to get videos of all the dogs today, I was too busy cheering! 🙈
I am always amazed at how far they have all come!
One thing I have come to understand in agility training is that we cannot compare our dog to others, it’s hard not to… “why can’t my dog do that?”
But here’s the thing, agility is a journey; a journey of learning with your dog, getting to know your dog inside out, it’s unique to each partnership, and to someone watching they might think wow that dog is naturally good at something, but everyone has their own hurdles to leap (pardon the pun)
I’m lucky, I get to see how far they have all come!
Every partnership today was working on their own progress, be it sit stays, weaves, confidence, independence, jump skills, drive, arousal….the list is endless!
I am feeling very blessed I get to be part of the journey! 🤩
Celebrate your dog, the distance they have come, play everyday and most of all enjoy the journey 🤩
