We are having a lovely wee holiday this week 🤩
First up a trip to PAL agility show in the borders to compete on the Friday - wow! What an awesome show!
Peep was on fire 🔥 5 runs - three 1sts, a 3rd and one elimination! (I said left!! 😂)
Then we headed up to Fife Friday night for KOF show on the Saturday!
4 runs - Three 1sts, and one elimination - he went way wide & accidentally ran into the poles (handler error) but I always make sure he leaves the ring the way he went in; crazy and so in love with the game!
So proud of this boy! Everwild Unbreakable Heart ❤️

Our first Foundation Trial!
Wow! Where do I start?!
Judging is much more stressful than competing! Especially when you are presented with 8 incredible scent dogs!!

Thank you to everyone that came along and everyone that supported us, gave words of encouragement and good luck wishes to everyone ✨

Interior search through some challenges to the dogs, new smelly farm environment!!

Selection test - some amazing indications! 🤩

Exterior search - literally the windiest day of the year! All the dogs worked so hard!!

But there can only be one winner right?! Wrong!
Not one, not two, but three dogs tied scores!! 🤯
Rare, but it does happen 😱
And of course it happened on our first trial 😬

Today is the day! Running our very first trial 🤩 An NNA Foundation trial at Dream Dogs HQ! So excited to see all the new teams that have booked on! 🥳
For some it’s their very first trial and others are just needing one more element to stage up to Pre entry! 🤞🏼🤞🏼

We’ve been out of signal over the weekend, competing at Granite City agility competition!
The highs and lows of agility - one minute you’re winning next it’s elimination after elimination!
But this boy loves his agility! He’s a bit crazy for it! 😜
He managed to bag himself two 1sts, two 2nd and two 3rds!
Some awesome courses over the weekend!
Now LOTS to train!! 🌟
I’ll get back to everyone’s messages shortly! Just need to lie down… I walked many many miles this weekend!

Did you know we are part of The National Nosework Association community, Rachel has completed her Odour recognition test (ORT) host and assessor training and more recently completed the trial official training which means we can now run and judge NNA trials! 🥳
Our first Foundation trial is on Friday 24th! 🥳
If you have ever asked me about scent work you will know how much I love it!
I do believe all dogs should get involved!
So many benefits for all dogs!!
Dream Dogs have regular drop in classes for our regulars, but the best thing scent work can be done anywhere, anytime! Just you, your dog and a whole lot of fun! 🤩
We will be holding another Introduction to scent work soon!

Our Sunday puppies wrapped up this week, and wow they all blew me away with how much they have developed over the past 5 weeks!
Confidence, focus, the young puppies stays 🤩 recall, social skills… just wow!!
Happy puppies trained through the power of positive reinforcement, making great choices and turning into Dream dogs! 🤩
Keep working hard puppy owners! You are all doing amazing! 🤩 So proud!

‘Cause one weekly dose of puppies is not enough! We’ve got two puppy classes running now, so Mondays are just as good as Sundays!
This is now week 2 and they have grown so much in a week!!
They are all incredible 🤩
Learning all the basics first; sit, down, positions, place/boundary training and this week we introduced a recall cue & started self control!
Can’t wait for Sunday & Monday to come around again!
