💔 Unfortunately, I've had to make the difficult decision to cancel my events this weekend.

My van has had to be taken off the road while I wait for repairs, and to say I'm gutted is an understatement. Not only does this mean lost income for a small business, but I've also spent a lot of time and money recently getting fully stocked up and ready for the busy season ahead.

I'd like to apologise to anyone who was planning on coming along to see us this weekend. Your support means the world to my little business, and I hate letting people down.

A little honest post from behind the scenes 🐾

This season is always exciting, markets, events, restocks, new products, busy weekends and seeing so many lovely customers again 🫶
But if I’m honest, it’s also exhausting!!!

What people often don’t see behind a small handmade business is the:
✨ late nights making stock
✨ early mornings for market set ups
✨ heavy lifting, packing and take downs
✨ juggling family life alongside business life
✨ trying to keep up with social media
✨ and still showing up even when energy levels are running low

After being hit with a horrible flu-like bug recently, motivation and energy have definitely taken a knock 😅

Sometimes it’s hard not to feel guilty for slowing down a little, replying later than usual or not posting constantly, but burnout is very real when you pour so much of yourself into a small business.

Sometimes people don’t realise that even something as simple as:

💬 leaving a comment
📲 sharing a post
🐾 recommending a page to a friend
can genuinely make a huge difference to a small business and the people behind it.

Sometimes just a friendly Facebook share or little boost goes a really long way 🫶
