End of an era 💔

As we start the month of August, it is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that this month will be the last ever month of our doggy daycare play sessions.

As you can see from the letter we received, someone has notified us to the council that we have been using an old farm yard and outbuilding for our play sessions.

While I do fully understand we would have to go through with this process. Ultimately, the location we are currently at wasn't perfect but it was something we could make use of until the perfect place became available.

Having previously gone through this process at our previous location and putting up a fight to get it passed, that experience was invaluable.

To now go through the process at our new premises would not only be considerably costly for the application and hiring a planning consultant (£3k-£5k) but ultimately we would still be refused because of the nature of a complaint and how we were notified to the council.

My biggest battle has and always will be finding a new premises that is suitable for us. Any units that might be available just aren't suitable or any land that is available isn't suitable for business use.

From SEPTEMBER we will only only be able to offer 2 group forest walks per day from Monday to Wednesday. (24 spaces) Our house visit/ check-in service will still be available 7 days a week.
