Just thought I would put a wee post up tonight as we approach Halloween 🎃 week

I know most of you know the tricks n treats that work for furbabies and that some don't work for any 😪 it can be scary to navigate

1: close all windows and doors curtains drawn n ordinary sounds like tv up

2: use snoodie or bandage wrap to dull fireworks 🎆

3: weighted coat

4: den under kitchen table or blackout curtain drapped over crate

5: play firework sounds low on phone during daylight hours to desensitise

6: distract with games or toys.

7: dogs water intake dropping just 10% can cause severe dehydration (can be fatal) please remember if you are using extra treats as reward/distraction or sedatives that fluid intake needs to be increased/monitored. Stress n panting increases fluid loss.

8: keep human sweets and chocolate out of reach

9: ensure fancy dress costumes for dogs do not hamper their happiness or health

10: give them a cuddle or space whichever they prefer

Hi everyone ☺️ As much as I hate to write this post 🙈 we are down to the last 2grooms before Xmas 😱

Can I please ask you all to send through the dates you would like for your 2 next appts today. That way I can sort as many as possible tonight to get the best chance to give appts suit everyone. I can't do everyone the Xmas week!!

Any appts booked for December will require a £15 per dog deposit which can be paid at grooming appt in Oct/Nov or via PayPal.

Thank you all so much for your continued loyalty and support 🙏 ❤️ like all small businesses its been tough but thanks to you and your puppers its been worth it to keep going ###

I've tried to write this post a few times.. but I can't find the words 🤫💙💔..
This is Snoopy he's featured on my page a few times. He's the best boy and at 18 he's more than that, he's special to me...but to his family he is everything ❤️ anyone that has lost a love so pure n true (only comes in dog form) will even remotely understand.

So I decided to tell a story its our story.....

I was at the maxol petrol station and my daughter Quinn said look mummy a dog can I pet it??? No Quinn you need to wait and ask....

Jerry came back and said of course you can pet him he's very friendly 💙🐶 Quinn told him my mummy is a dog groomer and that was that Snoopy became part of our family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🐶💙 and I'm glad he was here to see the new place ... I think he approved.

Enjoy rainbow Bridge wee man 🌈 thanks for everything ###xx
