Following inspection, Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA) has confirmed a presence of blue-green algae at Ballyronan Marina .

The algae can make people ill and can be potentially fatal for pets.

Please:
🚫 Stay out of the water
🚫 Avoid contact with the affected areas
🚫 Keep dogs on leads
🚫 Farmers and pet owners should not let livestock or pets swim in or drink from the water.

Get to know me!🌲

My name is Niamh and currently based in Toomebridge.
Working with dogs has always been a dream of mine, however after the passing of my sweet girl Skye I’ve decided to take the leap.

Skye was diagnosed with immune mediate polyarthritis at 1.5 years old but we never let that come between us and nature. Skye loved nothing more than swimming, running and being out in any and all weather.
For me, this changed my outlook on life! Aiding her through her condition helped me grow my love for life and made me see how important getting into nature, of all terrain, really is!

I cannot wait to start this venture in her memory and turn my passion for pups and the great outdoors into a daily adventure filled with wagging tails, happy hikes, and furry friendships! 🐾
