The dreaded grass seed season is almost upon us . Please check your dogs after every walk particularly paws and ears. To make this easier we are offering a paws and ear trim as a separate service in between grooms.

A beautiful tribute to Paul O’Grady as he is laid to rest today
All was subdued in the kennels
Not a whimper could be heard
Sadness filled each canine heart
For Peggy had passed the word
That their gentle friend and soulmate
Would no longer come to play
For he had to cross that rainbow bridge
And that's where he must stay
A pug shed tears of sorrow
A spaniel hung his head
Not one tail was wagging
How could their pal be dead?
It didn't seem to matter
If you were large or you were small
This smiling soul with tenderness
Would reach out to them all
When, suddenly and silently,
A vision did appear
And whispered in familiar voice
"Don't worry, I'm still here.
I've only left my body
You dogs still own my heart
And as long as there is Battersea
We'll never be apart"

Hi just an up date on grooming over the next few days.
We will do our best to keep the dogs cool while they are being groomed. The parlour usually stays cool until lunch time when the sun gets round. We will have to monitor this during the day. Hopefully we will be able to bath, clip and tidy your dogs but we will not be able to use the dryers so dogs will be towel dried and may still be damp.

If anyone would like to postpone their groom due to weather please let us know we will rebook for a later date
