Afternoon to all my lovely clients and followers! Whilst you don’t need to know the ins and outs of our business headaches; this weather causes a logistical nightmare for us and for you! For ease and to save too many back and forths; the rest of this week will be our ‘hot weather hours’. From now until the end of Friday we’ll be collecting an hour earlier and have all the dogs home by late morning. I was at the farm at 7.45 this morning and it already felt hot!

Next week looks far more comfortable so we’ll hopefully be back to normal but for the rest of this week, we’ll be on the early sessions.

☀️ HOT WEATHER UPDATE ☀️

The forecast for next week is looking very warm, so we wanted to give everybody a quick update regarding our daycare routines.

With Dan away, Adam will be manning the fort next week — and whilst we haven’t had to switch to our summer morning schedule this early in May before, it’s looking like we’ll need to do exactly that to keep everybody safe and comfortable. Certainly on Tuesday. We will then keep you posted for the rest of the week.

Dogs will be collected around an hour earlier than usual and will be back home by approximately 1pm, allowing them to enjoy their exercise, enrichment, and social time before the main heat of the day arrives.

As always, the dogs’ health and wellbeing will always be our number one priority, and when it comes to hot weather, we can never be too careful. 🌿🐾

I wanted to take time to send some love and appreciation to Shannon at Moore’s Paws

This week marks Shannon’s last before heading on to new adventures. The dog industry is inundated with all sorts of different people with varying opinions and that can sometimes turn people against each other. We seem to be incredibly fortunate locally to have some wonderful business owners that support what we do and always seem to be in our corner when things get a bit tough. Shannon has always been one of those people and we, and I’m sure all of her clients, both doggy and human, will be sorry to see her go.

Thank you for being so brilliant Shannon. We wish you every happiness and success. We’ll always be in your corner.

It’s been a while since I’ve been able to do any training sessions but my training cap is coming back out!

From Saturday 25th April I’ll be offering spaces for 1-2-1 training sessions again. If you want help with recall, loose lead walking, not jumping up when greeting, static behaviours, not rushing the door for visitors or any other issues you’d like to iron out, get in touch. I’ll be happy to help. 🫶🏻

Last week, my family were lucky enough to go on holiday to Lapland. A highlight of this, was working with the huskies and going on a sled ride.
This week, our farm dogs are showing us a different side to things again!! 😂
Please note, we LOVE LORENZO!! He might just be better suited to rolling about than pulling sleds!! 😂🫶🏻
