A day for the 5yos yesterday🥈

Lionheart Van’t Breezerhof did a fancy 24.5 dressage and just added an unlucky pole to it for 🥈 in his BE100 section

Brierfield MBF was ever the professional finishing on his dressage score for 🥈 in the other BE100 section. Both these two head to Cornbury House Horse Trials next🤞🏼

One For The Road also came for an spin round the novice for a double clear but HC so no prizes for him

Fantastic weekend at Frickley Park Horse Trials💥

Hidalgo finishes 2nd🥈 in the 3*S just adding a couple of seconds of time to his dressage score (only beaten by my wife Yasmin Olsson-Payne Eventing 🫣🥇)

King Carisma was super speedy in the same class, just an unlucky pole dropping him to 4th🏅

Both these two head to Agria Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials next for the 8/9yo class in their first 4*🤞🏼🤞🏼

Huge thanks to Frickley for all their hard work on the ground and my team for keeping everything running smoothly!

7yo Bueno on his way to a top 10 in the British Novice Championships at Hartpury today✨

We also had a great day on Friday at Aston with the two 5yos in their second ever event - Brierfield MBF finishing 🥉on his 28 dressage and Lionheart van’t Breezerhof finished 5th🏅 on his 29 dressage. Looking forward to the 5yo champs with them!

The two 7yos seriously impressing at Burgham Horse Trials🤩

Bueno was really classy for a 29 dressage, an unlucky first fence down show jumping and a speedy XC round for 8th out of 70+🏅 in his 3*S section - a very exciting one for the future with so much more to come in the dressage too!

One For The Road is a seriously athletic horse and he showed his scope jumping a steady double clear after a 31 dressage also in the 3*S 🚀

Lovely to have their respective owners there to watch them too and to see grass a bit greener than we have at home!!

Pretty excited to have two newly minted advanced horses🤩

Both still a little green in the dressage, but Hidalgo was seriously classy to jump a double clear, just adding some time faults to his dressage for 7th🏅 in the 8/9yo section. King Carisma is only 8 and still growing into himself but he jumped two class rounds just rolling a couple of poles but a cool XC making me excited for his future.

A great day for these two but my thoughts are very much still with the events of last weekend and Sophie and Kerry’s families, a very somber two minute silence today at Aston to really reflect on the dangers of the sport we love and remember those who we lost💔🕊️

Late update but we’ve had some great runs with the horses over the last few weeks despite the heat🌞

📍 Farley Hall
Super first intermediate runs for the 7yos with Bueno🥈 in the 7yo class, missing out on the win by 0.1. One For The Road did a smart 27 double clear, just steady this time, in the same section and Hidalgo jumped a double clear in the OI

📍 Aston International
Very hot couple of days, Bueno was the star of the week in his first 3*S jumping a super double clear after a 🌶️ dressage. Steady runs for the other two

📍 Upton
Hidalgo had a steady run in the OI setting him up nicely to step up to advanced in his next run. A newer ride for me Lancelot was classy in his novice jumping a cool double clear for 7th - one to be excited about for the future!

Huge thanks to all the girls at home for keeping the show on the road in what has been a very hot few weeks😅 our Omega Equine electrolytes have been thoroughly used!!
