Horses are getting ready as we speak, and as soon as santa flys in we will be off, roughly 1pm, keep an eye out and I’ll post when we are on our way to Coopers estate 🎅 HO HO HO

Just spoke to the big man himself…. He will be coming to see us Sunday 11th, he is very happy to come for drive around Tycroes on our carriage. Looking at 12/1pm will confirm on the day, so keep following for updates and route, He is expecting to see lots of you coming out to see him 😀

The gathering.

Each Autumn, Gareth Wyn Jones and a local community of vets, farmers and enthusiasts meet to bring the semi-feral Ponies of the Carneddau down to Tan Llwyfan Farm in Llanfairfechan for a health check and a tail trim. None of them come willingly and it’s a tough day on foot and quads to gather as many as possible from the 27,000 acres they roam.

Gareth explains, “Our family has been custodians of these magical animals for more than 370 years. And now my three children are involved too. They are part of the longest apprenticeship in the world for a job with nearly no pay!”
