Just got back from another house sitting job this week, photos to come (I always post after 1 week to respect owner's privacy, ask for permission to share photos and have chance to go through the massive cat photo dump on my phone!). π€³
I recently got asked what I offer during house sits and how it differs from the 30 minute and 1 hour drop-in service that I offer. Well, here goes...π πͺ΄ππββ¬
- I take care of all the usual cat care responsibilities offered in drop-ins (litter box maintenance, feeding, cleaning, playtimes (I'm on tap for their playing pleasure!) plus I'm around for the majority of the day and overnight to give lots of attention to cats, keeping them feeling safe and secure (and their homes too!). Perfect for kittens, seniors, multi-cat homes with lots going on and those prone to separation anxiety/loneliness. π»π»
- I am around to take in deliveries, water plants, take in/out bins, opening/closing curtains at times they need doing, keeping routines normal.π«π¦ποΈ
- I am there if emergencies strike with cats or the home, informing you as soon as something arises and needs actioning.π¨π©Ί
- Videos are sent along with photos and a daily update, so you never have to feel parted from your precious fur babies.π·π·π·
- I give the house a clean and tidy up before I go, meaning you return from your holiday feeling relaxed and stress-free!
I bring all my own food, toiletries, towels and am respectful of using water/heating etc.
Here's a ChatGPT version of house & cat sitting in Rebecca's Calm Cat Sitting world for a bit of fun! It's pretty accurate actually - and yes, I smile when I am working as I love what I do! ππββ¬π
