Happy New Year and we're back after a lovely break!

If you got in touch over the festive period, thank you - we'll have responded to everyone by the end of the week so if you haven't heard back from us by then, please check your spam.

A little update, some months for 2026 are really busy now but we still have availability left for the 2nd half of the year so do get in touch if you would like some care for your canine loved one on your special day.

2027 bookings are also coming in fast so if you got engaged over the last few weeks or you're planning a wedding next year, let us know your date in the first instance so we can check availability.

You can also join our notification list for 2028 so you'll be the first to know when bookings open!

We always say once you know you have care arranged for your furry family, you can relax and enjoy the rest of your planning!

Meet our December Aces...we do love a festive wedding and what a gorgeous couple of dogs to end our year on!

🐶Arya, Labrottie
For such a young dog, Arya is super calm and she was a superstar at the beautiful Wild Boar Inn last week, taking part in the ceremony and posing wonderfully for photos.
We really loved getting to know this gentle soul and having her to stay with us 🥰

🐶Agnes, Cockapoo
This little cutie settled in so well with us and we would have quite liked to keep her!
Agnes was the star of the show as ringbearer, she aced it down the aisle and then taking part in photos at the stunning Broadoaks Country House on Saturday!
After an afternoon Sniffari we then all settled in for a peaceful evening together on the sofa ❤️

A pawfect ending to a fabulous year and we're already looking forward to next year, with lots of lovely dogs to get to know and care for!
We're now signed off for the festive season and will be back in the office Monday 5th January.

October and November weddings round up!

🐶🐶Rosie and Poppy, Working Cocker Spaniels
We started off with caring for the delightful Rosie and her little pup sister Poppy while their pawrents got married at the stunning Cartmel Old Grammar - these two were great fun and we enjoyed lots of cuddles too 🥰

🐶Alfie, Working Cocker Spaniel
What a superstar this lovely boy was, posing beautifully for photos back at the wonderful Inn on the Lake and just being an all round star of the show - we loved having him to stay 🤩

🐶Tom, Miniature Schnauzer
Look at this little cutie - Tom's such a happy chappie and was lovely to care for - and taking along for photos at the outstanding Cote How Lake District Weddings - always love being back here!

🐶Ky and Flo, Cockapoo and Labradoodle
These girls are the family of the mother of the bride and mother and father of the groom and so it was an absolute pleasure to take them out for the day and give them a good trek around our local trails, so they were having fun while their family were at the beautiful Merewood Country House Hotel 🐾🐾

🐶Lottie, Cockapoo
Oh, lovely Lottie, what a dream this sweet girl was to care for and we loved every moment of having her around! She looked gorgeous with her family for photos down at the lake 😍

🐶 Sherlock, Mixed Breed from Romania
We had a couple of Bonding Sessions with this lovely boy so he'd feel comfortable with us on the day and he did so well 🤗- here he is with Nigel waiting to take part in some photos at the gorgeous Wild Boar Inn.

🐶Oakley and Cooper, Corgi and Golden Retriever
Finally we had the pleasure of caring for these two dapper dogs for a gorgeous wedding at the festive looking Armathwaite Hall Hotel and Spa...they did so well in the ceremony and then posing for photos and we loved our treks out with them two - such gorgeous little superstars ⭐️⭐️

What a lovely couple of months and we've had and now we're really looking forward to our last two weddings of the year next week to take us into the festive break!

Continuing our catch up with our super September weddings!

🐶🐶Rodney and Mochi the Bull Lurcher and Greyhound
Such chilled out pups, these two were amazing greeting guests and posing for photos at the glorious Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa early in the month and we so enjoyed getting to know them, and their lovely family ❤️

🐶Pancake the Dachshund
The term 'dapper dog' was made for him right?
This lovely little chap stole the show at the stunning Cote How Lake District Weddings - such a beautiful day to be a part of 🥰

🐶Bruce the Pomeranian
Super star Bruce bossed it at the beautiful Storrs Hall on a lovely sunny day and took it all in his stride - we loved having him and his star quality around! ⭐️

🐶Charlie the Border Terrier
What a cutie, Charlie did so well and he and Nigel had a lovely day together with a gorgeous trek out in the fells before photos at the fabulous New House Farm 😍

🐶🐶Lola and Lottie, the Cocker Spaniel and Labrador
These sweet girls were great fun to have around for the weekend, we enjoyed walks, play and cuddles and they even made a star appearance at The Ro Hotel, Windermere for some photos with their lovely family 🤩

Totally blessed with the weather again in September - such a fab month to get married (it's when we did so we're biased!)

What an amazing year we've been having and the Summer and Autumn have flown by!

Here we are catching up on a few months of gorgeous dogs being superstars at beautiful weddings - starting with our August round up...

🐶 Wilson, Sheepadoodle
What a lovely character - we so loved having Wilson to stay and getting to know him. He was a total dapper dog as you'll agree and did so well posing for photos with his family at the beautiful Barn in the Fells 😍

🐶🐶Bella and Wilma, Labradors
These girls loved a treat and so, despite being in exciting surroundings, did really well sitting for some photos at Lindeth Howe before we whisked them away for some lovely summer adventures! 🤩

🐶Susie, Dachshund
Total star of the show at the gorgeous Inn on the Lake - need we say any more? We really loved getting to know this little cutie 🥰

🐶Ozzy, Golden Retriever
Such a sweet boy, and totally aced the ceremony and photos at the stunning New House Farm ⭐️

🐶🐶Bonnie and Pepper, lovely rescues
These two stole our hearts as they warmed up to us after a couple of bonding sessions - and it was so lovely to be a part of such a beautiful celebration with them for our first wedding at the fabulous Holbeck Ghyll Country House Hotel ❤️❤️

🐶🐶Maple and Ralph, Cockapoos
Cuteness overload, so lovely to care for these super siblings for the afternoon and take them along for photos, back to the beautiful Lindeth Howe for a really fun celebration 🥳

August was a fabulous month for us, and the weather played so nicely for some warm and sunny special days! ☀️

Where is the summer going??
We're having a great one with some really fabulous dogs to care for and some super weather for lovely Lake District Weddings!

Here's our round up of our July weddings and dapper dogs :

🐶🐶 It was a super hot day for fab friends Ruby and Rogan but the beautiful Lancrigg has some stunning mature trees for resting in the shade and Ruby and Rogan did a great job walking down the aisle before the bride! What a lovely weekend we had with them😍

🐶🐶🐶We had such a great day caring for these beautiful Sussex Spaniels too - Hestia, Eric and Kalli; they were just amazing settling down in the church for the ceremony!
We enjoyed a trek up into the beautiful fells for some photos before returning to the gorgeous New House Farm for some snoozing into the evening ❤️

🐶🐶🐶Then another terrific trio - meet Frankie, Alfie and Angus. Don't they look totally dapper posing in front of the stunning Merewood Country House Hotel ?
This was another sunny, hot day - Frank aced the job of ring-bearer and all three energetic terriers were totally chilled throughout proceedings - superstars! ⭐️

🐶🐶Last but not least, super spaniels Millie and Henry! Millie is the bride and groom's dog and was such a good girl heading to the idyllic Inn on the Lake to pose for some photos, Nigel was so impressed with her 😇
Meanwhile Henry played and snoozed with Tamsin before they were reunited for an afternoon Sniffari and overnight stay.
These lovely siblings were an absolute delight to care for 🥰

What a month it was - and August is proving to be the same, with both fab dogs and stunning weather for summer weddings ☀️ can't wait to share more with you soon...

What a couple of 100% Dapper Dogs to finish off our June weddings.....

🐶Nevis - what a sweet boy, you really stole our hearts and you were so chilled greeting guests and posing for photos at the beautiful New House Farm ❤️

🐶Zeus - you're such a stunner, inside and out! ❤️
It was lovely to have you to stay and we had fun taking you for photos at the gorgeous Town Head Estate - you did amazing!

Congratulations to your lovely pawrents and it was so lovely to round of our June weddings with your lovelies 🙏🥂

When two of your dogs from your dog walking business (Ambleside Dog Walker) fall in love - and you also run a wedding dog care business.....

Can you believe the wedding of Bonny and Oscar was a year ago today?! 🐶❤️🐶

This fun event was such a lovely collaboration with Cote How Lake District Weddings who hosted the special occasion and took care of every tiny detail, as they always do, so beautifully. It became the official launch for their Paws and Promises Wedding Package.

We were also so honoured to have involvement from some outstanding local suppliers who gave their time and expertise to make this day everything it should be for two top dogs:

Tiree Dawson Photography - for giving us such stunning lasting memories of this special day, it's always such a pleasure to work with you!

Brackens of Bowness - don't Bonny and Poppy look so gorgeous in their floral garland and corsage? Especially made for us by this amazing local florist.

Sir Woofchester's - who else could provide such a luscious wedding breakfast for our bride and groom?

Oscar was supported on the day by Best Dog, Buster, and Bonny's Dog of Honour was Poppy - they were all absolute superstars on the day and had lots of fun with plenty of love, attention and delicious food!

Bonny and Oscar are doing great and enjoying married life - and we're wishing them an amazing first anniversary! 🥰

What a stunner - meet Bodhi! ❤️

Bodhi really was looking 100% dapper dog for his big moment as ringbearer after we picked him up from his groomers in the morning and dressed him in his suit!

It was super exciting for this gorgeous pupster to see all his favourite people at the wedding and when the time came it was a little overwhelming but Nigel was on hand to carry him down the aisle so he could perform his duties for his mum and dad - needless to say he stole the show and everyone's hearts⭐️

It was so lovely to care for him for the day, and to attend our first wedding at the beautiful Holesfoot too!

Congratulations guys, and so pleased the weather behaved for the occasion! 🥂

June is shaping up to be a super month for weddings and we've been caring for these gorgeous dogs so far this month :

🐶Jake - what a lovely gentle soul, it was fabulous to spend the day with him and take him along to Cote How Lake District Weddings for a beautiful elopement

🐶Dudley - this super senior was such a dapper dog, posing for photos like a pro when we took him along to Town Head Estate to see his mum and dad on their special day and then snoozing the day away peacefully back at our's

🐶Luna - what a bundle of fun to care for - this little cuddle monster was full of love and affection and it was great to take her along for our first wedding at Lancrigg where she did so well and behaved impeccably!

🐶🐶Penny and Frank - what superstars, these guys had to contend with ever changing weather and took it all in their stride! They stole the show walking down the aisle, sat calmly throughout the ceremony at Broadoaks Country House and waited patiently for the rain to ease before posing beautifully for photos

We've so enjoyed being part of each of these weddings, congratulations to all the lovely couples, and thanks to each of the stunning venues for having us and to the amazing photographers we've had the pleasure of working with.

We're looking forward to a few more weddings coming up before the end of the month and so expect updates soon! ❤️

What a lot of lovely weddings in May - great month to get married!

It was so lovely to care for :
🐶Arya, the sweetest black Lab, and to es**rt her to Cote How Lake District Weddings to take part in photos

🐶Kenny and Billy, the cutest Miniature Schnauzers, who were good as gold attending their pawrents' ceremony and posing for photos at Low Hall The Lakes

🐶Wilson, the most chilled out Welsh Terrier you've ever met, who stole the show posing for photos at his pawrents' special day at Inn on the Lake

🐶Maple - this lovely Golden Retriever smashed it out of the park running down the aisle and delivering the ring to her guardians at Storrs Hall and before mingling with guests

and last but by no means least,
🐶Super Spaniels Oscar and Jasper - these total Dapper Dogs posed beautifully for photos at Yew Tree Farm

It was great to get to know every one of these dogs and to be trusted to care for them, and bring them along to such special events.

Congratulations to all the amazing couples 🥂
And thank you to all the fabulous venues we've visited and awesome suppliers we've worked with in the last month, some we knew well already, others we met for the first time and it was great to work with you all.

It was our last April wedding at the weekend and this one was very special, as we were caring for the dogs of a fellow local dog care professional and someone we've known for a few years.

We were honoured to care for Blisco and Paddy, to take them on a couple of our favourite trails and - most importantly - to es**rt them to their guardians' wedding at the beautiful Merewood Country House Hotel.

These two spend so much time with their dad working alongside him but they coped so well being away from him for the night and were absolute superstars at the wedding meeting guests and posing for photographs beautifully - and just generally taking it all in their stride! ❤️

So lovely to play a small part in this special day and we wish the newlyweds all the very best for the future! 🥂
