🔨 A nice bit of improvement for this pony, after a bout of laminitis and thin soles I chose to use Squish Pads from The Shoeing Lab as first aid, then once he regained soundness I opted for a straight bar shoe, ibex pads and A15 impression material.

💪🏼 Great to see him back in work again!

🔨 Super pleased with how Max’s feet have responded from having straight bars fitted, he’s an older horse with super flat feet but has been revolutionised since having a change in his shoeing plan resulting in him displaying better posture and soundness 🔨

🧰 Being able to fabricate different types of bar shoes on site is such an advantage to us with portable welders, it means you can literally make any type of shoe into any type of bar shoe within a little extra time, this saves any delay in ordering specialist shoes etc etc 🧰

🐴 Here we have Libby Seed Eventing’s Angel, shod in toe clip Mustad Hoofcare Equilibrium Airs with a Werkman Hoofcare sports straight bar welded in, double stud holes and double pins thrown in for good measure 🐴
