When something feels off - trust that feeling. Speak up. Ask questions. And work with a vet that values your insights.
But remember - respect is part of advocacy too. Your veterinary team are human beings who care deeply and work incredibly hard. Kindness and collaboration go a long way.
Arnhem has developed a number of medical issues in the past couple of years, and his primary veterinary care team at Cedar Vets have been fantastic at working with us to resolve/manage them, or to refer us where needed, most recently to Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists. Our physical therapy team at The Canine Fitness Centre also form an integral part of our veterinary team, working with both our primary care team, and specialist team to get the best outcome.
