🐾 Pooch Spotlight: Meet Max 🐾

Meet the wonderful Max, our 15-year-old Cocker Spaniel and one of our longest-standing Dougal’s regulars. ❤️

Max first started coming to Dougal’s 10 years ago, and over the years he’s become very much part of the family. We’ve watched him enjoy countless holidays, make lots of friends and settle into his own little routine whenever he arrives.

These days, Max is quite partial to a cosy nap and a tasty treat (or two!), but every now and then he still surprises us all by bouncing around like a spring lamb when something exciting happens. It’s impossible not to smile when you see him.

One of the greatest joys of what we do is getting to share so many years with our dogs. We’re there as they grow up, mature and enjoy their golden years, getting to know every little quirk and personality along the way.

This year marks 13 years of Dougal’s Doggy Digs, and stories like Max’s are exactly why we love what we do. Many of our dogs have been coming to us for years and truly see us as a second home – and we feel exactly the same about them.

Here’s to you, Max. Long may the naps, treats and unexpected bursts of zoomies continue. 🐶❤️

Summer holidays are just around the corner… is your dog ready? 🐾

At Dougal’s Doggy Digs, we don’t believe in dropping a dog into boarding and hoping for the best.

For dogs staying more than three nights, we ask them to complete a compulsory overnight trial beforehand. It gives them the chance to get to know us, make friends, settle into our routine and enjoy their stay long before your holiday begins. It also gives you complete peace of mind knowing they’re happy, relaxed and excited to come back.

Many of our dogs have been with us since they were tiny puppies and genuinely see us as a second home. In fact, this year marks 13 years of Dougal’s Doggy Digs, and we still have some wonderful dogs who have been part of our family since those very early days.

Our experienced, caring team treats every dog as an individual, taking the time to understand their personality, routines and little quirks. With knowledgeable staff, secure facilities, enriching activities and lots of cuddles along the way, we pride ourselves on providing a true home-from-home experience.
