WE ARE NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS FOR TIMMY

It was Timmy’s first walk out today and though he shut down initially with some patience and reassurance from volunteer Jaye Jae he was then able to enjoy his walk.

After initially shutting down she then started to have a walk especially after she saw Sundy who she obviously knows .

DAISY JUST YET

Now Daisy is out of season we have started to take her out for a walk.
Daisy was very nervous of the outside world initially . While out on her walk she bumped into Sundy who has just gone on trial.

Our big lawnmower isn’t working so the paddock was getting over long .
Luckily for us Chris from ‘A1 gardening’ stepped in and helped us out .

Tommy is up for adoption after a very successful walk around a busy Alnwick when the market was on. His collar was very kindly donated by one of the stalls Bark & Bobbin

AS WE ARE ANTICIPATING TOMMY BEING VERY POPULAR WE WILL ONLY HAVE TIME TO GET BACK TO THOSE APPLICANTS MOVING ON TO THE NEXT STAGE. Thank you

Name: Tommy
Age (approx): 2
Breed: toy poodle x
Disposition: wary/ nervous initially then cuddly and full of fun
Loves: toys , playing , cuddles
Dislikes/wary of: new things initially but is becoming so much more confident
Dog friendly: initially was petrified but again this is improving quickly
Cat friendly: unknown
On lead behaviour: this will need continuing but we have seen massive improvements
Previous bite history: not that we know of or have seen
Fully house trained: pretty much there which is amazing as he was obviously used to just messing in his crate when he arrived .
Prey drive: not that we’ve seen

Requirements:
Breed experienced owners: just owners experienced enough to keep on building his confidence
Can they live with other dogs : 1 other similar sized dog , but will need a few meets
Children in the home: no , teenagers would be fine
Rural/Urban: either
Someone at home for company: yes , Tommy will definitely need someone around to build a bond with and help his confidence.

General background: Tommy was found abandoned in a field .
He was in very poor condition, thin and matted. He had obviously lived all his time in a crate.
We are looking for an active but calm home for Tommy who will take him on lots of adventures.

Little Tommy on the right has done really well on the walk today . He was really barky before when he saw other dogs but there was none of that today when out and as you can see he got pretty close to Darcy.
Next we will be taking him to busier places to see how he copes with that .
