Scottish Thistle Pedigree Whippet Racing Club Our Club meets weekly (during the season April - October every Sunday from 12 noon - Inch Farm Ki

Whippets race every SundayTrials for any dog are run in between the racing and after racing.We also train young puppies from 6 months upwards to get them used to the lure and by the time they are a year old they are more than ready to race. We hold a Scottish derby each year where our friends from down South come up to Scotland with their Super racing dogs and all compete together.

Hi folks,
Well a quiet day at the club yesterday as we had a good amount of dogs away at the national however we still had an enjoyable and hot day, as usual the pups loved it and they are all looking great, Evel Kneviel Houston enjoyed his time on the quad so yes all was good, as said the racing was quieter than normal, we ran our 4th scratch meeting over 160 yards, here are the results, oh photos attached from the aforementioned Mr Kneviel 😊

Next Sunday we will be running our 5th points meeting over 160 yards,

Hi folks,

Due to a problem with the electric today we had to switch to our 3rd scratch meeting but hey as usual the job was done, a big thank you has to go to Stuart Douglas for investigating and rectifying the problem, Wullie the weatherman says when that sun appeared it was hot but very nice all round,

A fair few of the wee pups were on show today and they all had a wee go with our resident Irishman running with the lure......they loved it, the older pups are all doing great again thanks to our trials team,

The scratch racing was good with some competitive races, next week we will run our 4th scratch meeting over the 160 yards, before I forget good luck to all our owners and dogs who will take part in the Nationals next Sunday,
