Hi All.
Due to the expected snow! The site will be closed on Friday, please rearrange any bookings free of charge. We shall put grit down on our access road if needed on Saturday morning.
On a positive note! as of Saturday our solar powered flood lights will be back in operation as they are now fully charged. The flood lights cover the entrance and agility area, also we can provide a powerful torch to use in the rest of the field! Please contact us before arriving if you wish the lights to be turned on.

Customer Notice.

It has been brought to my attention that there was several dog 💩 In the play and gravelled areas this afternoon. I will be checking the cameras over the past 24hrs to find who is not cleaning up after their dogs, If this happens again they will be banned from using the site.

Our Dog Splash pool is finally open again at K9 Private Hire. The pool has been resealed and had a new filter fitted, we refill the pool twice a day with fresh cold stream water.
We apologise for having to suspend service whilst the sealant dried.
We only charge £5 to hire our custom built dog field for 45 minutes.

Hi Everyone.
Just a quick reminder to all dog owners! When we have heatwaves like these the pavements can heat up to a point that they burn your dogs paw pads! As we are expected to get temperatures upto 30c over the next two day's, It is recommended that you time your walks appropriately when possible also please bear in mind that dogs can not regulate their body temperature as good as us humans by sweating etc! Although dogs do sweat, it's primarily through their paw pads!
I hope you all can enjoy this lovely weather safely.

Hi Everyone.
The dog splash pool will be opening again later this week. The grass has had its first cut and all the measurements and small repairs have been listed ready for work to begin. There shouldn't be any long site closures this Spring but you will probably see me Pottering on between bookings. If you haven't yet seen the site from May to September! it looks totally different to Winter with lovely cut grass and all the lumps and bumps are gone.

Hi Everyone.
We are continuing the revamp of the site in a weeks time and then periodically over the next few months.
We did hope to start earlier last year but for reasons out of our control this was not possible! hence the old car park looking like a building site at the moment.
We have some new ideas to add to the site aswell as replacing more of the old fencing and putting in a second field shelter where the old one is. Other plans we have include a BBQ area with a brick permanent BBQ in the old car park (This will be ideal for customers booking two slots back to back), we have been wanting to do this for a while but have been waiting for the water works to be moved further away! According to Northumbria Water, work is due to be completed there in a few weeks time and the old site will become a car park. We also plan to have a water tank fitted so there is drinking water for the dogs.
The splash pool will be in operation in the coming weeks, once the frosts stop. The grass is just starting to grow again so the 3x reverse crop circles and the long patch grass at the bottom of the field will be back for the dogs to have a play in and run around.
If any of you have any ideas to improve the site for yourselves or your dogs please message us or leave a comment, please note the site is off grid so has limited spare solar power and water.
This facility is as much yours as ours, it only works because you all look after it 🙂.
