Hi all, thank goodness for a cooler day today.
The forecast looks likely this warm spell is due to continue for a fair few days yet and it’s been so tuff to keep our K9 residents cool as you can imagine.
We have been doing all we can to help keep the kennels as cool as possible, putting up reflective tarpaulins, fans and air conditioning units. However, my very dedicated other half went one step further and decided to paint the entire kennel roof with a unique specialised reflective paint that blocks out 70% of the sun ☀️
Over the last three days in crazy hot temperatures after his day job, he has washed then painted two coats of the paint on the roof which has made a huge improvement to reduce the temperature in our kennels for the dogs.
Just want to say a huge thank you Jules from me, Lauren, Shaunie, and the pooches it has made a huge difference to their comfort and wellbeing ☺️xx

Early doors pictures before the ridiculous heat….. yet again. Myself and my team will be radio silent on here now after this post in the coming days and we may not respond straight away to any correspondence, emails calls etc as we will be preoccupied with focussing all our time on keeping the pets cool during this heat wave. It’s really tuff for all of us let me tell you! 🥵 🥵 🥵
