🐾 Meet Mylo! 🐾

Mylo was dropped off with us Saturday–Thursday and, my oh my, what a beautiful boy he is! 🥰

This was our first time having Mylo, and we are already more than eager to have him back again! 💙

Mylo has manners to die for and the sweetest, most affectionate personality. He absolutely LOVES a cuddle and some fuss and is just so incredibly polite and gentle. 🥹

Mylo is a Labradoodle, and boy, is he handsome! 😍 He enjoyed lots of lovely walks during his stay and was super good with his recall. He does like to get a little ahead of us, but I think that’s probably down to the size of his running gait because this boy is HUGE! 😂 He’s genuinely the size of a Shetland pony! 🐴😂

I’m so incredibly grateful that Mylo’s owners trusted us with their beautiful boy. They had already visited a few people for meet-and-greets but hadn’t quite clicked with anyone, and then they chose to put their trust in us. That honestly means so much, thank you! 🥰

Mylo is an absolute credit to you, and we really hope to see this gorgeous boy again very soon! 💙

And, of course, reuniting Mylo with his mum was such a special moment. 🥹 He was still his wonderfully mannerful self, but you could see the excitement as he rested his head into his mum for a fuss. There’s nothing quite like seeing that bond. 💙🐾

We had beautiful Talulah back with us! 🥰

Talulah left us yesterday after an 8-night sleepover, and I honestly can’t say enough wonderful things about this little girl.

She is the most incredible, loyal dog to my autistic little boy. She won’t leave his side, spends all day sitting outside with him, and doesn’t like any of the other dogs getting too close to him! If she can’t go to bed with him, she’ll even cry. Their bond is so special to watch. ❤️

She reminds me so much of my beautiful Missy, my heavenly angel, my daughter, my first-born. I think that’s one of the reasons I adore Talulah so much. She has that same queen bee energy! She puts the big dogs in their place without a second thought, happily lies on her back with her legs in the air for everyone to admire what she’s got! 🫣🤣 She absolutely loves fuss and cuddles, loves getting under the duvet to snuggle up by your feet, gives the sweetest kisses, and nestles into your side on the sofa to keep you nice and warm. She’s just an angel.

The only difference between her and Missy is the vocals! 🤣 Talulah may be tiny, but she is certainly loud… small but mighty, and she always has something to say!

I must admit, the house feels very quiet without her.

We really hope to have you back again soon, Talulah. We are completely besotted with you, and you’ll always have a special place in our hearts. 🥰🐾

Amber was back with us for a lovely little weekend stay! 🥰

She was an absolute pleasure to have around. Amber enjoyed plenty of lovely walks, lots of playtime with the other doggies, and showed everyone just how social she is. She got on brilliantly with every dog she met! 🐾

She settled in so well from the moment she arrived and was completely relaxed throughout her stay.

Of course, the best part was seeing her face light up when her dad came to collect her! It was clear she realised she hadn’t been left forever. Moments like that never get old. I absolutely love seeing how excited our furry guests are when they’re reunited with their families. ❤️

On Tuesday we had our beautiful big boy, Kona, back with us… and boy, have I missed him! 🖤

Kona was a little anxious when he first arrived due to some changes at home, but it didn’t take him long to settle once he realised he was here with us and nobody was going anywhere.

He had the best time splashing in the paddling pool, enjoying a lovely walk, and, of course, taking another unexpected dip in the bathtub with me and Noah after launching himself in without any warning! 😂

As for bedtime… well, Kona made himself completely at home and totally hogged the bed all night! 🐾

It was so lovely to have you back, Kona. We can’t wait to welcome you again soon! ❤️

Cheerful Charlie was back with me on Tuesday this week, as the office at the butchers called my name on Friday, so we had a little change of routine! 🥰

Charlie was super eager for his walk this week. As soon as I got to his house, I was greeted with full on zoomies before he practically pulled me down the drive and up the hill to start our adventure! 😂

No puddle for Charlie this week, but he definitely found a lovely wet cow pat to roll in instead… dogs really do have their priorities! 💀🐶

With no other walks booked, there was no rush at all. We took it nice and steady, enjoyed plenty of sniffing, our usual water break, and of course a little sunbathe before heading home.

This week we have had Ozzy! 🐾

This was Ozzy’s first time staying with us and his first time being away from mum and dad for so long. At only 8 months old, he is still very much a baby and, as you can imagine, has plenty of energy! He is very similar to Bruce in that way, these two are definitely alike when it comes to their activity levels 😂

Ozzy quite literally does not stop and is always on the go, exploring and getting involved in everything!

He was a little anxious during his first couple of days, but he soon settled and realised he loves a good sofa snuggle. He especially loved jumping into bed in the morning once Luke had gotten up and laying with his head on the pillow like a little human.

He enjoyed his daily walks and having the freedom to explore. He is still learning his recall, so we had to be mindful of distractions such as other animals and walkers, but he does love staying close.

Being only 8 months old, Ozzy is very much in the puppy stage, full of energy, curiosity and a little bit of cheekiness! 😂

Big news for my terrible twosome today! 🥹🐾

If you’ve been following Coco and Biscuit’s adventures, you’ll know Coco earned a little taste of freedom last week… until some birds stole her attention! 🫣😂

Well today, our clever girl absolutely smashed it! She spent around 40 minutes off lead and only 20 minutes on lead for the roads and getting to our adventure.

We wandered through fields, explored a little woodland, and Coco kept her focus on me and her sister the whole time. She answered every single recall perfectly, and whenever she got too far ahead, she’d stop, turn around, and make sure we were still following. 🥹 Honestly, I couldn’t have been prouder.

It was a bittersweet moment for me (and I’m sure Biscuit felt the same! 🤣). Watching our little baby run around so confidently and freely was amazing, but it also made me realise she’s growing into such a clever, independent girl.

One of the loveliest parts of my job is getting to watch dogs grow up. I’ve been walking Coco and Biscuit since Tuesday 24th March, when they were only nearly 5 months old, and now they’re around 9 months old. Watching their confidence blossom, seeing their personalities develop, and being part of their journey is such a privilege. They really do feel like part of my extended little family. 🥹❤️

I think Biscuit secretly loved it too! 😂 Without Coco constantly bouncing into her and getting tangled around her, she was able to enjoy the walk at her own calm, steady pace while her bonkers little sister did what she does best… charging around exploring everything!

Hopefully, once we’ve built even more trust in Coco, we can start working on Biscuit’s recall too. Nothing would make me happier than seeing both of these gorgeous girls running free together. 💕

Safe to say, they were both absolutely exhausted by the time we got home! Roll on next Tuesday’s adventure… and if my timings are right, I think it’ll be sleepover time after that! 🐶❤️

Cheerful Charlie was back for his Tuesday walk this week! 🐾

Naughty Jadey is off this Friday for an early 30th birthday treat… matching tattoos with my mum! 🥹🖤

Charlie had the best time today. His house is a bit of a builder’s site at the moment 🫣, so I think he really enjoys getting away from all the chaos for a while. As always, he was over the moon to see me, bouncing straight out the door and leading the way!

Today we decided to play ball, which Charlie absolutely loved… until the ball somehow got tangled up in his big fluffy tail! 🤣 He looked so worried, as if he’d completely forgotten how to walk. After a quick rescue mission, disaster was averted, and we carried on with our lovely walk, stopping for a hydration break and plenty of cuddles before heading home.

Charlie will be joining me for another Tuesday walk next week too, as I’ll be back in the office on Friday! 💙🐾

Boisterous, bonkers Bruce was back for another sleepover this weekend! 🤪🐾

Bruce is a regular here, and wow… does he keep us on our toes!

Rule number one: don’t leave food anywhere… especially not on the kitchen side. Rule number two: don’t leave anything you value lying around… because Bruce will happily claim it as his own! Within an hour of arriving, we’d already lost one lunchbox and one toy dinosaur. 😂

If you’re hoping for a quiet afternoon sat down with a cuppa, Bruce has other ideas. I’m convinced this boy has doggy ADHD! He simply doesn’t have an off switch and always has to be doing something. 🤣

That said, we absolutely adore his bonkers personality. If you ever need cheering up, Bruce is the dog for the job. He’s hilarious, completely unpredictable, wonderfully chaotic, and keeps us laughing from the minute he arrives until the minute he leaves.

At bedtime, he transforms into the world’s biggest cuddle bug and insists on sleeping sandwiched snugly between us. 🥹❤️

Walks are an absolute dream too. He doesn’t pull on the lead and loves having the occasional mad zoomie while still staying close.

See you in a couple of weeks, Bruce! I’ll spend the time catching up on sleep, regrowing the hair you’ve made me pull out, and ironing out the wrinkles you’ve given me before your next visit! 😂💙

It’s our final night with the beautiful Trinity tonight, and I’m genuinely so sad to see this girl go. ❤️

She has slotted straight into our family life. Her routine matches Reggie’s perfectly, toilet breaks in the garden, lovely walks, two meals a day, and when she’s not out and about, she’s all about a good sleep! She’s also made the perfect bedtime buddy… right slap bang in the middle of the bed! 😂

She’s been the perfect mix of energy too, happy to enjoy a good walk, but equally happy chasing a ball for as long as you’ll throw it. 🥎

Honestly, Trinity is an absolute credit to her owner. I’ve rarely looked after a dog who is so affectionate, loyal, loving and beautifully behaved. She really is an absolute saint.

She even came along to Party in the Park while our son was performing with his school. She enjoyed a picnic with all of his friends and teachers (keeping a very close eye on everyone’s food, of course! 😂), then sat so beautifully while the children sang. Afterwards, we finished the afternoon with a game of ball at the bottom of the park, which she absolutely loved.

We’re really going to miss having this gorgeous girl around. Fingers crossed her mum books another holiday very soon, because we’d love to have Trinity back for another stay. 🩷🐾
