New Puppy training class starting soon! 🐾

This class will take place on Monday evenings, in an indoor hall in Aldridge. It has been designed for puppies and their owners who need a little help with some of the basics.

Last slots available for my puppy class starting soon.

Classes are held on Monday Evenings at 7pm. Starting Monday 8th September

Start time : 19:00
End Time : 20:00
Location : Aldridge Social Club (Indoor hall)

The class uses the most up to date Positive Reinforcement training techniques, allowing you to teach your dog obedience in a fun way.

This level one obedience class is aimed at puppy's between 3 and 8 months.

Classes are hosted by a fully certified, accredited trainer.

All dogs must be fully vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date with all worm/flea treatments.

I keep classes small to ensure everyone gets as much interaction as possible without overwhelming the puppy's.

This class is aimed at dogs up to 8 months old but anyone can join if you want to master the basics!

Classes all take place in an indoor hall so we can still train our furry friends in the unpredictable English weather!

All dogs must be up to date with all vaccinations and flea and worm treatments!

Happy New year all!

Since starting my dog training business, I always emphasize the importance of socializing pup's at a young age, especially after the difficulty we all had socializing pup's during the last few years.

If over the festive period yourself or someone you know have had the joy of the addition of a new family member in the form of a puppy. Joining a class can be a fantastic way to get your pup off to a great start, as well as getting the chance for both the puppies and yourself to make life-long friends along the way.

I have only 1 space left in my class starting Monday, so please get in touch if you want to join this one! Don't worry though, as I will have other classes starting soon after.

Another 3 Graduates! 🎓 Meet Dexter, and brothers Monty and Brodie. Congratulations to all three lovely pups who have all just passed their Level One Obedience with Maritza's Dog Training. All three will be moving on to Level Two Obedience to further advance their learning.

If you want your pup to grow up to be a happy, confident and independent dog, is it vital to properly socialize them early on! Which we do plenty of in this class, from the social aspect being around new dogs, people and environments, to fun and engaging games like the sensory play seen here!

After an initial consultation, I returned for session 1 with Nips. Such a lovely little pup. In the first session we focused on the basics of how to lure with food to teach some basic cues. As well as showing her wonderful owners how to start dealing with puppy biting as it had already started to become an issue for them.

Love seeing new owners getting ahead of training for their puppy, and not only seeking help when problems arise. I can't wait to see you at session two 🐾

Caught a sneaky in action shot of the brothers Monty and Brodie in their latest obedience class. With Monty showcasing a lovely 'Place/Bed' cue whilst his owner works on building up duration and distance, and Brodie working on his 'Sit and Stay' in the background. Great work by all!

After an initial consultation with the wonderful Poppy, we will be spending the coming weeks working with her owner on loose lead walking, recall, and some basic cues and good manners around the house.

Not yet old enough to go outside but already starting to master the toilet training basics, well done pup! I can't wait to start working with you.
