📢 Member Information – Farnham Pilgrim Marathon & Half Marathon 🏃🎣
If you're planning to fish at The Tarn on Sunday 13th September, please be aware that the Farnham Pilgrim Marathon & Half Marathon will be taking place that morning.
🏃 The event starts between 8:30am and 9:00am, with runners passing through the area near the parking by Myrtle's Courtyard before crossing the dam at the western end of the Tarn.
A small section of the path may be temporarily taped off to allow runners to pass safely, but parking should not be significantly affected.
Later in the morning:
✅ Half marathon runners will return across the dam.
✅ Marathon runners will also be using the northern bank of the Tarn on their return from Cutmill Pond, so members fishing that stretch may experience some temporary disruption.
The route will be clearly marked in advance, and we don't anticipate any major issues. We simply wanted to make members aware so you can plan your day accordingly.
