What a week it’s been! 🐾❤️
The sunshine has certainly kept me on my toes this week, and as always, the health and wellbeing of all the dogs and small animals in my care comes first.
To beat the heat, all of my dog walks have been scheduled nice and early before the hottest part of the afternoon. The cooler mornings have been perfect for exploring the shady woodland trails, where there’s plenty of shelter from the sun and lots of interesting smells to investigate! 🌳🐕
Every walk has included plenty of stops for fresh water, well-earned treats, and regular rest breaks to make sure everyone stayed happy, hydrated and comfortable. And of course, there have been lots of opportunities for a splash in the streams and puddles! 💦 Nothing makes me smile more than seeing wagging tails and happy faces enjoying a cool dip.
It’s not just the dogs keeping me busy! My small animal visits have included making sure cats and other furry friends have had fresh food, cool water, clean living spaces and lots of love and attention while their owners have been away. 🐱
Although the warm weather means a few changes to our usual routine, it’s wonderful seeing all of my four-legged friends enjoying themselves safely. Thank you to all my amazing clients for being so understanding and flexible with earlier walks—it’s all about putting your pets first.
Here’s to another week of muddy paws, wagging tails, woodland adventures, cooling splashes, cuddles, and making sure every pet in my care is happy, safe and loved. ❤️🐾
