Life Lately at Hannah’s Hounds Training ✨

It’s been a busy few weeks here with plenty going on behind the scenes 🐾💛

We’ve welcomed Dexter, our latest foster, supported Bailey and Kip on their board & train journeys, and said goodbye to Ziggy as she headed back home. Ozzie had a full-day session before his send-off, and Shadow handled a vet visit like a pro ⭐

In between all that, we squeezed in another brilliant Social Walk Fundamentals group and a trip to Wollaton Hall 🌿🐶

Every week brings something new – and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

🐾💥 Meet Bailey! 💥🐾

Bailey is a two-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who’s joined me for a board and train while her owners are on holiday – and she’s here with a special mission: to work on her dog aggression.

Right now, Bailey struggles both on-lead and off-lead, and she doesn’t yet have the appropriate dog manners she needs. The moment she spots another dog, her first instinct is to lunge towards them – and she’s also got a lot of fizz (that extra spark of energy!) which we’ll be channelling into calmer, more thoughtful behaviour.

She’s been with me just over a week and has already made some fantastic progress. I can’t wait to share more updates as she learns new skills and starts to enjoy calmer, more positive interactions.

Keep your eyes peeled for her journey – this one’s going to be exciting! 💛

🐾💛 Meet Dexter – Our Newest Foster! 💛🐾

Say hello to Dexter, a five-year-old Miniature Dachshund with the happiest little wiggle you’ve ever seen!

In his previous home, Dexter struggled with both human and dog aggression. But since arriving here – and with a boost of those all-important endorphins – he’s been doing brilliantly. He’s learning to make great choices, including moving away if something makes him uncomfortable, and I’ve honestly never met a dog so excited to greet people as they approach. 💕

Right now, Dexter’s also dealing with a skin condition, but with a bit of time and care, I’m hopeful we’ll see some big improvements in the coming weeks. For now, we’re just enjoying his joyful energy, bouncy spirit, and that irresistible wag.
