Fun little outing with the pack this weekend helping some clients back in Shropshire 🐾 It’s always nice heading back to where it all began, and even better when I’ve got some extra help!

Connor was roped into filming duties (and acting as a “strange human” for one of the dogs!) which was very much appreciated 💛 Shadow and Percy, of course, came along for the adventure too.

A few weeks ago, I muzzled Shadow on a neutral walk for the first time 🐶. Even though I started his muzzle training over a year ago, I realised I had never actually taken him out on a walk while wearing it - not intentionally, just one of those things I hadn’t gotten around to 🤷‍♀️.

So, I popped him out of the van, got his muzzle on, and off we went. I started with some fun engagement games to keep his focus on me, but honestly? He wasn’t bothered by the muzzle at all! 👏

Muzzles are an important tool. If it hasn’t been a priority for you yet, make this the month you start. You won’t regret it!

Lennox is back! Last year, Lennox stayed with me a couple of times to give his owners the opportunity to have a break, but also to help them get around to the idea of going on their first holiday in ages!! 🐾

Last year, Lennox was a very different dog to the one that arrived yesterday. He was stressed about being crated if it wasn’t on his terms, hesitant to get in the car, and struggled to mingle with other dogs comfortably off-lead.

Fast forward to now, a few months later, and he’s come back a completely different dog. His body language is soft and relaxed. He’s been hopping in and out of his crate without hesitation. I’ve touched his collar when popping him in his crate, and there’s been no stiffness at all. His recall has been fantastic (it generally always was), allowing him to enjoy off-lead freedom, and he’s mingled beautifully with my own dogs while outside.

This is proof of what consistent work can achieve. Real change is possible, even in just a few months. If you’re struggling and feeling like nothing is going right, don’t give up. Reach out for help and trust the process. You will get there! ✨

Want to train your dog to walk on a loose lead? How about training your dogs to walk each other? 😆

Percy took Shadow for a walk himself this morning! (Or so it seemed! 😂)

Disclaimer: I dropped the lead, and this is just how it landed on Percy’s muzzle. It gave me a good chuckle - no, my dogs did not actually walk each other!

Polly & Athena Are Here!

They are staying for a couple of weeks whilst their owners have some much-needed downtime! Athena has struggled a little in the first couple of days with new noises inside and outside the house, but she is finally starting to settle in with guidance from us and the other dogs (she likes a good roll around with Percy, which helps get her endorphins up). Polly always makes us laugh - occasionally, you think you’ve lost her on a walk, but then you look down, and she’s right next to you. She is so small!

Excited for the next couple of weeks! 🤩✨
