I am struggling to find the words today. My heart is completely broken as I say goodbye to Bonnie.
Looking at these photos—from the tiny pup she was when we first met to the beautiful, happy soul she became—I’m reminded of just how much of our lives we shared. For over 10 years, Bonnie wasn't just a dog I walked or someone who stayed in my home; she was and felt like one of my own.

She knew me, she knew every inch of our walks, and I truly believe she knew she was home whenever she was with me. Having her stay with us for a decade meant she was a fixture in our family, my shadow on a walk, and a constant source of joy.

Today, it feels as if a huge piece of me has been ripped away. The paths we’ve walked for 10 years will feel incredibly empty, and the house is far too quiet.

Thank you, Bonnie, for a decade of loyalty, for every wag, and for being the best companion I could have ever asked for. I am going to miss you more than I can say.

📢 IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM WALKING WITH DOGS 📢
It has come to my attention that a new local page has launched using the exact same name as this one, operating within Coatbridge.

I want to officially clarify that "Walking with Dogs" is not affiliated with this new page in any way.

As many of you know, I am no longer walking dogs professionally. While I still love my time with the dogs on a day/week off, my career has moved in a different direction.

I’ve worked hard for over a decade to build a reputation for care and trust with your pets, and I don’t want any confusion between my past work and this new, unrelated venture.

This page remains as a personal archive of my 11 years in the business.

Thank you all for the years of support and for being part of the journey! And feel free to download videos and pictures of your dogs since 2014, i still cant bring myself to close or delete the page🐾

Just a quick post to let everyone know I’ll be stopping dog walking full-time at the end of this month.

Hard to believe it’s been 11 years. What started as a job turned into a big part of my everyday life, and I’ve been lucky to walk some cracking dogs and meet some great people along the way.

Thanks to everyone who’s trusted me with their dogs over the years — I’ve never taken that for granted. There’s been plenty laughs and a lot of good memories.

I’ll be in touch with everyone individually over the next few weeks.

Thanks again for all the support over the years, it’s genuinely appreciated 🐾
