🐾 A little update for all of my lovely customers 🐾

Many of you may have noticed the “For Sale” board outside today, so I wanted to let everyone know what’s happening.

I’m moving home, which means Lucy’s Dog Grooming will also be relocating. I want to reassure everyone that I’m not closing – I’ll still be grooming all of your wonderful pups, just from a new location.

At the moment, I don’t yet know where my new grooming home will be, so I can’t share any details just yet. As soon as I know more, I’ll be sure to keep everyone updated.

For now, it’s business as usual, and all appointments will continue as normal.

I’ve been incredibly lucky to build such wonderful relationships with both my customers and their dogs over the years, and I’m so grateful for the trust you’ve placed in me. ❤️

This is simply the start of a new chapter for Lucy’s Dog Grooming, and I can’t wait to share more with you when the time comes. Thank you all for your continued support, and I’ll keep everyone updated as soon as I have more news. 🐾

No dog ever died from missing one walk🚨

If the pavement is too hot for your hand for five seconds, it's definitely too hot for paws. During the heatwave, stick to walks at dusk and dawn to avoid burnt paw pads and heatstroke, and if in doubt, don't go out.

Please share this vital reminder to help protect four (and three!)-legged friends in hot weather.

☀️ HEATWAVE WARNING ☀️

As temperatures rise, please remember our pets can struggle in the heat much more quickly than we do 🐾

A few simple steps can help keep them safe:
💧 Always provide plenty of fresh water
🌳 Keep pets cool and in the shade
🚫 Avoid walking dogs during the hottest parts of the day
🐾 Check pavements before walks — if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws
🚗 Never leave pets in parked cars, even for a few minutes

Signs of heatstroke can include excessive panting, drooling, vomiting, lethargy and collapse. If you’re worried, contact your vet immediately.

Let’s all do our bit to keep our furry friends safe and comfortable during the hot weather
