✨ Happy new year everyone! ✨
Don’t forget to get your new year grooms booked in!

Remember it’s so important to keep on top of regular grooming which is why I always recommend you book every 6-8 weeks, and if you’d rather leave all the grooming to me because your too busy then you can book in for every 4 weeks and alternate bathing and full grooming every 4!

It’s not only recommended to maintain your dogs coat and prevent them getting matted and uncomfortable. It’s also good for their skin health and keeping them clean. Especially if they struggle with skin problems!

If you have any questions about regular grooming or maintenance appointments that I offer please don’t hesitate to contact me, I’m happy to have a chat with you about any of your queries!

Merry Christmas to all my wonderful customers!

Thank you for all my lovely cards and gifts I’ve been truly spoilt!

I will be closed now until 30th- open for one day for those new year pampers! Then back to normal as of 2nd January.

I just want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone for their continued support during what has been a difficult year for me with my surgery and significant time off. Everyone who waited for my return back to work and continued support of my small business. I wouldn’t still be here doing what I love if it wasn’t for all of you!
So for that I’ll always be thankful.

I look forward to seeing you all for a happy and healthy new year ❤️

Antifreeze spills and leaky engines are a lethal threat to our pets. Ethylene glycol, the main ingredient in antifreeze, is extremely toxic. Unfortunately, it is naturally sweet, which is why pets are tempted to drink it. As the weather continues to drop colder, please be extremely cautious of spills and leaks ❄️

Ethylene glycol is also found in car screen wash, brake fluid, radiator fluid and some garden water features. Even small amounts, if swallowed, is deadly as it causes permanent damage to the kidneys.

Symptoms of antifreeze poisoning in dogs and cats:
- Wobbliness and weakness
- Vomiting
- Low energy (lethargy)
- Drinking and weeing more to begin, and then less than normal
- Difficulty breathing or fast breathing
- Seizures (fits)
- Collapse

Sadly, antifreeze poisoning is usually fatal unless it’s treated extremely quickly. Call your vet immediately if you think your pet has come into contact with antifreeze - don't wait for symptoms to appear!⚠️

🛑PLEASE READ🛑

It’s that time of year again when everyone is exceptionally busy, and life gets chaotic.

So far this week I have had 5 last minute cancellations or no shows! That is roughly £200 in takings for me, could you imagine having that taken out of your wages every single week?
But also not being able to do a single thing about it?

Usually for no shows or cancellations within 24 hours I charge a fee of £20 per dog.
Which is more than fair as that for most dogs is half the price of their actual groom.
It’s getting to the point where I will have to start taking deposits for grooming appointments as this is becoming a real problem.

If you book an appointment please make sure you make every effort to show up on time. I understand completely that things happen that are out of our control. But please bear in mind next time, the small little self employed business is the one that loses out.

Thank you to all who are never late and always show up on time, I see you and I appreciate you more than you know! 💖
