Our annual PWAS ride go's out this Sunday 28th September. Our aim is to raise awareness of how to pass horses safely on the roads & keeping everyone safe including cyclists & pedestrians. Our route is from the village down to Broomhill & back with a short stop in Broomhill for photos. Anyone wishing to join us your very welcome on foot or bicycle also. We're happy to answer any questions you may have regarding safe overtaking or just come to say hello & meet some of the lovely ponies & their little jockeys who just want to be able to enjoy themselves safely x

I'm looking for someone who would like to share my paddocks to keep my 14h cob mare company. Ideally a mare, nothing bigger than 14.2 who can live on grass & not need restricted. There's 2.7 acres divided into a summer & winter paddocks both with field shelters. Use of stable for grooming/tacking up, vet, trimmer etc. It's behind my house so I'm on site & there's good hacking in the area. Price can be discussed but happy for help with muck picking for cheaper price. Based in ackington village. Please pm for more details thanx x
