My name is Claire, I am 39 and non Smoker and live in Abingdon in Oxfordshire. I have had over 15 years of experience working in care work, with adults with learning disabilities to support them to became more independent. I

have always had a passion for animals. I have always love seeing family and friends dogs and other pets. I always wanted a dog of my own but my parents didn’t want one. I have had pet hamsters as I grew up and also rabbits and turtles. They can grow BIG!! I have had over 2 years of experience day and overnight petsitting. I can drive to your homes to take good care of your pets and home. Abingdon and surrounding villages in Oxfordshire.

Lunchtime & Afternoon Visit with Minke and Flora 🐶🐶
I think it’s safe to say these two were excited to see me again today! They could smell Boo on my dress!!😍

Their lunchtime enrichment was wrapped up in a tea towel, turning mealtime into a fun sniffing and foraging game. It didn’t take them long for Flora to work out how to get to the tasty rewards hidden inside! 🦴🐾
Minke likes to take food from your hand.
She got on top of some cushions, she was the princess of the castle!!
Dinner time then there were plenty of cuddles, lap-sitting, and quality time together.

An hour visit with these two gorgeous rescue dogs, Flora and Minke.🩷🩷

When I first met them, they were both very wary of people and preferred to keep their distance. Trust isn’t something that can be rushed, especially with rescue dogs, so I took things slowly and let them set the pace.

Over time, we built a bond based on patience, consistency, and respect for their boundaries.

Now look at them! 🥰 Cuddles on my lap, seeking affection, and happy to spend time with me. Moments like these are so rewarding and remind me why I love what I do.

Every small step is a huge achievement for a rescue dog. ❤️
