Happy International Dog Day from all of us at Aberystwyth Dog Agility! After an exciting summer, we are looking forward to seeing all of the dogs at class again in September.

This summer, our club members are travelling across the UK to compete in different agility shows - but we wanted to draw special attention to The Kennel Club International Agility Festival! Biggest show of the year! With 1000s of dogs, and 18 rings, the team had a busy few days but great to see the Welsh flag flying. Well done all! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

🌟WEAVE WORKSHOP with Canis Concept🌟

At Aberystwyth Dog Agility, we don't run classes over the summer but we are excited to see that our trainer Sally is working with Canis Concept to run a two-part weave workshop aimed at dogs that haven’t yet started their weave training. She will go through step by step all you need to know from how to find the entry as well as how you get super confident movement.

The cost covers both sessions at the barn in Blaenplwyf:

Another fantastic weekend for Team Aberystwyth! Well done to everyone competing over the bank holiday - looking forward to class this week ⭐️

Kai has won into grade 5 at Agility Vision & Moose had a win at Dysynni Dogs with Cotton, Jeffery & River taking home rosettes! It’s so lovely to make these posts - such fabulous dogs 💛

Some of our agility dogs also had a play at Dysynni Dogs Hoopers Show - proving that agility is a transferable skill! Morgan surprised us all with 2 first place wins.

Busy few weekends for club members with Barrow in Furness and High Peak Agility. A massive well done Sarah & Cotton with her first win to Grade 3 at Barrow and a 2nd place at High Peak. Well done to all dogs and handlers who attended - they were fabulous 🐾

These sessions are perfect for dogs from beginner level up to competition level, and take place in a spacious indoor school with a full set of agility equipment 🐕🎉

Over Easter weekend, some of our amazing handlers were busy shining at Vision & Warrior Agility, delivering some brilliant runs and results.

A huge congratulations to all the dogs, our special winners, and an extra special well done to those who tackled their very first KC show! The courses were quite challenging, but every single dog gave it their all.

What a great end to the year 🎄

Lovely evening at our Christmas Steeplechase. All of the dogs were amazing - we’re so proud. Well done to all of our rosette winners, and a special shoutout to Roo & Rolo for winning best Beginner & Novice Dog.

Special thank you to Rosettes by Dysynni Dogs & Y Ffrindiau Dysynni Dogs for the rosettes & trophies. Canis Concept Training & Behaviour, Cariad Dog Groomers and K&P Pets for your raffle donations. And a big thank you to our committee, and trainer Sally (Dysynni Dogs) for such a lovely evening!
