Wildside Wales canine care

Wildside Wales canine care I provide a calm and stable environment, especially good for reactive dogs. I am fully insured and DBS checked.

I specialise in caring for your canine companion: stimulating dog-walks as well as home-from-home day care and overnight boarding in a rural home near Parc Slip nature reserve. I love what I do and I take it seriously: I have a certificate in Canine Health & Welfare (incl First Aid), and Dog Training Skills L2. I strive to continually extend my knowledge of dog behaviour and develop my practice of

positive reinforcement. I specialise in the care and training of dogs with behavioural issues, eg reactivity to other dogs/creatures. It is vitally important to me that dogs are kept under control in public and that all their mess is cleaned up and properly disposed of. I have a clean driving licence and secure transport for dogs. Dogs in my care enjoy fun walks in the woods, mountains, dunes and beaches.

Gosh, it's been a minute! I can't resist showing off magnificent Max - a real bear of a collie - enjoying all the enticing scents of the Farmer's Market before heading off into the sand dunes to the lake for a quick dip.

I've been privileged to continue working this summer, after enjoying some time out to study and develop new skills earlier in the year. Severe back pain has impaired my physical abilities, leading to a recalibration to working with smaller dogs with minimal reactivity, with a focus on training. I'm getting stronger again so I'm just riding the wave to see what the future holds. 😊

Big news: I'll be taking a break from caring for canines from October until the new year. Time to recharge my batteries!...
