We’re getting ready for a busy and exciting August here at the yard — and bookings are now OPEN for private lessons, pony club, group lessons, pony days, hacks, and our 5-day summer training camp! 🎉

📌 **Please note:**
Due to all the extra activities planned, **lesson spaces are limited**, so early booking is essential. There will also be **no Saturday lessons in August**.

Hi everyone! ☀️🐴

Just a quick update — due to the extremely hot weather and following professional advice, we’ve made the decision (in line with what many other riding schools are doing) to cancel all lessons until Monday. The wellbeing of both our horses and riders is our top priority, and with the temperatures set to stay high, we feel this is the most sensible and responsible step.

For those of you booked in for today, you’re more than welcome to come in for a gentle group hack instead, if you'd still like some time with the horses in a more relaxed setting. If you'd prefer not to ride in the heat, that’s totally fine too — I’ll be opening up extra time slots next week so you can easily rebook your session.

Please just send me a quick message to let me know what you’d like to do.

We’re taking a moment today to give a HUGE shout-out to someone who makes our school feel like a second home — the amazing, supportive, and endlessly kind Zoezie! 🐎💖

Whether she's guiding a nervous beginner through their first trot, helping advanced riders fine-tune their form, or simply offering a listening ear and an encouraging smile, Zoezie brings heart, patience, and passion to every lesson.

Her dedication to our riders — both two- and four-legged — is something truly special. 💫 Thank you, Zoezie, for everything you do to lift us up, teach us with care, and make every ride a memorable one.

Hi everyone,

I'm deeply saddened to share that a very dear friend of mine passed away suddenly just two days ago, leaving behind his partner and their two young boys. His partner is understandably devastated and currently under a great deal of stress, particularly with the unexpected financial burden of arranging a funeral on such short notice.

To help support her and the boys during this incredibly difficult time, we’re organising a raffle and a fundraising activity day, with all proceeds going directly to the family to help lay their loved one to rest.

🎟️ Raffle Details:
£5 per strip
3 winners will receive either:
A 1-hour riding lesson (jump or flat), or
A 1-hour hack
🐴 Fundraising Activity Day & Awards Evening – Sunday, 13th July:
£30 per child

🌟 Huge shoutout to our superstar jumpers — Katie, Evie-Bow, Saffia, and Emma! 🌟

Over the past 4 weeks, these girls have absolutely smashed it in their jump class. Their progress has been nothing short of amazing! 🙌💥

They’ve been working hard and it shows:
🏆 Jumping bigger fences with confidence
🎯 Riding full courses like pros
📏 Nailing straighter approaches and landings
🧠 Sharpening their technique every single session

Each of them has pushed themselves and supported one another, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far they’ve come. Watching their confidence grow has been the real highlight! 💖

🚦🐴 Road Safety in the Arena – Pony Club Fun with Purpose! 🐴🚦

Tonight at Pony Club, our young riders took to the arena for a special road safety session! 🦺🚘 From practicing hand signals to learning how to safely pass vehicles and cross "roads," everyone worked hard on building confidence and awareness for when they're out and about with the ponies.

We transformed the arena into a mini traffic zone with crossings, and a few surprise obstacles to keep our riders on their toes – and they all did brilliantly!

👏 A huge well done to our amazing riders (and our very patient ponies!), and a big thank you to all the parents who helped support the session and cheered everyone on. Your involvement makes evenings like this so special and valuable.
