Ages since I’ve posted and the kittens have changed a lot! They’ve had their first vet check and vaccinations; all a great weight and doing well.

They’re regularly on the cat wheel but I never seem to catch them, probably because they’re keen for cuddles!

Will post more photos soon!

Enzo x Juno’s babies are almost 7 weeks. Visitors today which they took in their stride.

Really well behaved litter with great personality. They started on solid food and have taken to it well. Doing well with litter training.

Our kittens are growing up! Four weeks old now and changing almost daily. They got their first taste of freedom on Sunday and have loved exploring the living room. They’re very friendly and confident, making an immediate beeline for us as soon as we appear. Colours and patterns are still uncertain but we appear to have a chocolate point boy, a chocolate tortie point girl, a chocolate tabby point girl, a red point boy, and a cream point boy (possibly red but currently looks cream). Apologies for less than great photos! Video to follow as well.

Day 17: Tiny cats! The little ones have more colour, their ears are no longer folded, they’re starting to sound and look more like tiny cats, and they’re keen to get out of their’box’! Juno is not so keen for them to come out; she prefers to know that they’re in one place and safe!

Days 11-13: Mobility is improving, eyes are open, and the kittens are growing rapidly and well. I ‘stole’ 3 of them for a few minutes for cuddles and photos. We cuddle each one every day, but taking photos can be harder unless two of us are available.

Day 5: colour appearing more and more though it’s still too early to say really what colour each will be. One of them has their eyes beginning to open! Better pictures when I have a helper handy to distract Juno for a moment.

Day 4: Mum and kittens doing well. All gaining weight and content.

Colour is just beginning to appear on the edges of ears, the ears themselves, and noses.

Day 2: Siamese kittens are born completely white. The Siamese gene, or the gene responsible for coloured ‘points’, is temperature activated. Only the colder extremities of the kitten or cat’s body is coloured. When born the kittens’ body has no temperature variations from being inside mum so it’s only after birth that the colder parts of the kitten start to change colour and this takes time. Kittens follow the vibrations of their mum’s purrs to find her so they can feed. Mum feeds them, washes them, stimulates them to toilet (by washing), and keeps them warm.
