Good Evening, a food for thought post;🤔

As a cat groomer and owner of Persians and 3 Scottish long haired folds, I have learned one of the biggest misconceptions about long haired cats is, that they groom themselves well enough to maintain their coats.

If only this was true, whereas in reality coats which are allowed to become tangled ( or clumpy as I call it) and oily are much more likely to develop mats over time.

Matts wil then pull on their skin causing your cat to feel discomfort and unable to groom that particular part.

Routine maintenance helps keep the coat separated, clean and easy to manage , also allowing you to check on the overall condition

I love ❤️ seeing my cats and your cats nicely groomed 🪮, it’s a very satisfying part of my job.

Good morning, grooming tomorrow morning , 🎀August and 🎀Lexie were supposed to be in last Friday however because I was ill 😷I had to reschedule them .

🎀August and 🎀Lexie have been to Purr’s & Pamper 🐈‍⬛🐈before , it’s nice to see returning pussycats .

Good afternoon, chilled day at Purr’s & Pamper 🐈‍⬛🐈today.

🎀Mabel and 🎀Paige going to the vet , 🎀Mabel for her vaccination and 🎀Paige to get weighed for her wormer.

They are both very tired after their vet visit although they were not stressed, just takes a lot of of them .

🎀Paige is putting on weight every visit and now just weighs over a bag of sugar 😹

Good morning , fantastic result 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿this morning , Purr’s & Pamper 🐈‍⬛🐈thought l would share the news if anyone went to bed like i did with not being 💯 % the last few days, however I have turned a corner and feel good 👍this morning .

Have a good Sunday I intend to make the most of it and groom 🪮my cats this morning as they have been a bit neglected with me being unwell .

I have a few people to contact regarding bookings and I will get that done today , 2/3 bookings are either Ragdolls or Maine C***s never knew they were so popular until I started my grooming venture , in the cattery I worked at , even there I never seen as much as I do coming to myself .

Have a good day appointments only available this week is,

Monday 2.30pm🪮
Tuesday 10.30am🪮
Thursday 2.30 pm 🪮✂️

This afternoon I had 💙Ozzy and 🩷JoJo , (brother and sister )into see me for their first groom 🪮, they are not 1 year old until August so still just young

They both done remarkably well even receiving a wee Hygenie trim🪮

💙Ozzy and 🩷JoJo are my cousin’s cats so it was a lovely catch up too and of course they had to come and see my gorgeous lot.

They are 😻beautiful cats and were left to explore my room while we went inside for a coffee ☕️

Now time for a much needed rest as not quite back to normal

This morning i had the handsome 💙Wybie come to see me. 💙Wybie has been to a groomers twice before however i live closer to him and he is not a good traveller so I had the pleasure of his company this time@.

💙Wybie get access to outside so had a few matted bits that need clipped out alongside his groom 🪮however you would never know with having such long fur.

I am going ahead with my 3 grooms 🪮tomorrow, everything crossed i will be fine,
