Ruben - With a very heavy heart, we share that Cocker Spaniel Ruben has crossed the Rainbow Bridge 💔🌈. Perhaps it was a fitting coincidence that this sad moment came on World Pet Memorial Day, a day dedicated to honouring our furry companions who made our lives brighter and left paw prints on our hearts forever. Ruben first trotted through the doors of Deeside Dapper Dogs in 2021 and, from that moment on, became so much more than a client. Over the years, he became part of our salon family, bringing joy, laughter and wonderful fluffy mischief to every groom. Ruben never simply arrived for a groom. This handsome devil announced his presence with the cheekiest of bum wiggles, the happiest of smiles, ears flopping like banners of joy, a majestic head tufty worn proudly like a crown, and a tail that never stopped wagging - like a metronome tuned permanently to joy. The Head-Tufty King, Mayor of Spanielton, and quite possibly the happiest dog in the world, Ruben gave us countless memorable moments and wonderful photographs over the years. Who could forget his Easter Bunny photoshoot, his goofy reindeer look, the endless smiles, or those cheeky little tongue pokes that melted hearts every time. Adored by his family and friends Ruben truly was one of a kind. His special magic dust brought happiness wherever he went, and his absence will be deeply felt. The salon will feel a little quieter without him, things will feel a little less bright. But the memories he leaves behind will continue to make us smile for years to come.
