Rescue dogs can come with lots of issues and are all individual to the dog.

Betty, who is a Romanian rescue and is such a sweetie is worried about going outside and hasn’t been since she came.

Gradually increasing her confidence by using patterns. It will take time, you cannot rush behaviour change.

Stopping with your dog.

Doing nothing is a skill. You her dog really should learn.

It's okay just to stop and watch the world go by think of doing nothing as a job, this can certainly help your dog being a calmer state. Especially for excited, dogs.

Think of islands of calm as suggested by Simone Muller You just make sure that all your walks have little pit stops, small breaks that you can just sit there, do nothing and watch the world go by and remember to reward that cam Behavior, because that's what you'll get, if you reward it.

Nessie is a stunning Catalonia hound cross! Her family and her relocated here from the USA earlier this year and she was only adopted last November. She had been running around in woods and wasn’t in a good way.

Despite this Nessie is a very sweet girl who’s eager to learn and had a awesome session!

Starting with Drop (Chirag Patel) and 1-2-3 game
She quickly picked up the games!

Sunday morning was a meet up of the Scentwork training group!

Doing what dogs do best, use their noses! They see their world so differently. They all aced it, so we went into a wee forest next to field. Video to follow

Training on Sunday morning!

Beautiful weather so we worked outside, dogs had lots of fun and are really progressing.

Morlich the boxer took part, he’s only a few months old so we’re using his favourite game tug as reinforcement! Happy boy!
