Have we seen this?!! Looks BRILLIANT!! 😃 Honestly, we will absolutely be giving this a try if we can get booked in! Our little collie / lab X Kali is a spirited, if slightly chaotic swimmer and would love this :-) Can't wait!

We are at it again – trying something new and something quite special which we wanted to trial this year.

This one is all about the Doggo’s!!!! Treat your pup to a splash-tastic swim in our outdoor pool—designed for dogs and their humans to enjoy together.

We are now in the final week of our heated season, and we want to end it in the best way possible by inviting the doggo’s and their humans in for the final swim of summer 2025, after this session we will have a small closure to clean our water and prepare for our very successful cold swimming sessions which will be advertised soon.

This is a save the date for Sunday the 14th September, sessions will be 45 minutes long and we will have 5 sessions over the day.

We will post again when bookings will be opening. It’s limited spaces so keep an eye on our page.

Had a glorious day on Saturday at Castle Fraser with Vivien McCallum Kelly and the Aberdeenshire Doodles and Poos Facebook Group. It was my 2nd year of photographing their big annual meet-up and this one was special as it was the 10th Anniversary!! Meeting 100s of dogs at once is always a bit overwhelming but in a very good way :-) Here's a very small, random selection of the nearly 450 finished pictures...

A "memory" popped up on my feed earlier to tell me it was 14 years ago to the day, that I set up a page for Hairy Dog! I dug out my first Hairy Dog hard drive and found these photos, amongst many others.

Hooray! Migration to new host all done successfully and the website seems to be back online :-) Not quite seamless but given how much I understand about this sort of thing, I'm amazed it worked at all!! Here's a phone photo taken at Sheddocksley in the recent snow for tax :-)

Either way, our very own, much loved , one-eyed rescue girl Kali, has been rejoicing non-stop about the coming of so much snow - just had to capture her love of life (and especially snow) on yesterday's walk...
