It’s almost that time of the year again folks!!
Once again Red Dragon will run over three days, this year on 25th, 26th & 27th September at the Royal Welsh Showground, Builth Wells.
We are very grateful to British Horse Feeds, who are sponsors of the event again, for the 16th year.

On the webpage you will find details of the stabling, camping, day-corralling, ordering hay, all the special 2 and 3-day classes, food / refreshments and much more. The routes maps are available as downloads from the webpage already.
This year we are very pleased to be hosting Endurance GB’s Club Endurance Team Championships and the Pony Club’s National Endurance Championships this time.
All the usual classes are available alongside the two Championships for everyone to enjoy over the three days of the festival.
We are running two free online webinars about the Red Dragon Festival. You may wish to sign up to one of these webinars (they will both cover the same topics) as a bit of a “refresher” or to ask any questions about this year’s event.
Please also pass on this email and links to anyone you know who might wish to enter this year, perhaps for the first time, as we would like to welcome as many new riders as possible.

Entries open on Monday 3rd August at 8.00am and close at midnight on Monday 14th September, with no late entries.
If you are planning to enter Red Dragon this year, then of course you will be very welcome to ride just on the one day. However, we hope that the stabling, camping and day-corralling cost is such that making a weekend of it by riding two or three days is attractive.
We always want everyone to come to the event to ride and enjoy the fabulous routes and hospitality at the venue. If for any reason you cannot ride with us this year, then if you live close enough, then please consider volunteering to help steward the event. We are always short of volunteers and you will be very welcome.
The venue and facilities at The Royal Welsh Showground are excellent for a weekend away for riding during the day and relaxing in the evening, either on-site or at one of the many excellent nearby pubs and restaurants. So, go on, spend a weekend taming a Red Dragon!
