🇬🇧 You all know me as the owner of Mountain Paws, dog sitter 🏠and dog walker🚶‍♀️, but what you may not know is that I am also a Ski and Snowboard Instructor (with BASI, British Association of Snowsports Instructors) ⛷🏂❄️

After a two year break from teaching whilst I have been doing further professional training, I am finally getting an instructor jacket back on and sharing my passion for snow sports with clients once again😀 And I am super excited!

So I will be out of office from Sunday 29th December to Friday 3rd January as I head out to Aosta to teach in the Italian resort of Pila over new year for 5 days.

Whilst I obviously will not be doing any dog walks between those dates, my diary is still open for all future bookings so please do not hesitate to get in touch for all your dog walking and dog sitting needs.

Our Adventure Pack Walk winner Lilou has been out enjoying some doggy playtimes in the snow with one of her best gal pals Taco 🐕🐾🥰

Lilou (in the foreground) loves playing with Taco - they play like this together non-stop for entire walks.
So much so that their lovely owners ask me to see if I can book them in on the same walks together 🥰

This will be a partial opening with the following lifts and pistes set to open:

🚠 Pleney Telecabine
🚠 Mouilles chairlift
🚠 Nabor chairlift

⏰ Opening times are 9am - 4pm

🎟 Lift passes are priced at €15 per person per day (this pre-opening weekend is also included in your season pass)

🛷 The piste de luge at the top of Pleney is also under construction.

🎟 Les forfaits de ski sont au prix de 15 € par personne et par jour (ce week-end de pré-ouverture est également inclus dans votre forfait saison)

🇬🇧 BREAKING: As previously promised, Les Gets opens for a pre-winter ski this weekend. There’s a lot of snow on the pistes above the village, but for the moment this is a partial opening and the following lifts will operate:

🚠 Chavannes télécabine
🚠 Croix chairlift
🚠 Chavannes magic carpet (likely but not 100% confirmed)
🚠 All will open 9am - 4pm

⛷️ Gentiane Haut
⛷️ Beginners slope
⛷️ There’s no return on skis to the village just yet, so you’ll descend in the Télécabine

🎟️ €12 per day for children, €15 per day for adults, €8 per day for beginners

🎄 A reminder that Alta Lumina and the Luge 4 Saisons are also open, there’s a wonderful Christmas market in Les Gets and there’ll be a sledge run on the Chavannes piste too. What a weekend to be in !

🇫🇷 Dernières nouvelles : Comme promis, Les Gets ouvre ses portes pour un ski de pré-hiver ce week-end. Il y a beaucoup de neige sur les pistes au-dessus du village, mais pour le moment, il s'agit d'une ouverture partielle et les remontées mécaniques suivantes fonctionneront :
