A HAPPY STORY
This poor chap lost his dogs. He called us to see if we had got them. We didn't - we are a pension only. However, we then got a call from someone who had found two dogs! We went arounf to collect and deliver them. Sometimes satisfaction, not money, is important!

UNE HISTOIRE HEUREUSE
Ce pauvre type a perdu ses chiens. Il nous a appelés pour voir si nous les avions obtenu. Nous n'avons pas - nous sommes une seule pension. Cependant, nous avons ensuite reçu un appel de quelqu'un qui avait trouvé deux chiens! Nous sommes allés arounf de recueillir et de les livrer. Parfois, la satisfaction, pas d'argent, c'est important!

Chipeur, a magnificent St Bernard, came to us on a long term stay as he was having problems at home. His coat was riddled with fleas, which had been untreated for some while, and had clearly been neglected. He was extremely aggresive, because he was so frightened. We were lucky to have had a young man working with us at the time that had an empathy with Chipeur, and the time to spend with him. Over time, with the help of our excellent vet, he was able to turn Chipeur around into a healthy, placid dog. The owners asked us to find a new home for Chipeur, and he now lives happily with his new family - Chipeur, un magnifique Saint-Bernard, est venu à nous pour un séjour à long terme car il avait des problèmes à la maison. Son habit était couvert de poux, qui avait été traitée pendant un certain temps, et avait clairement été négligé. Il était très agressif, car il était si effrayé. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir eu un jeune homme travaillant avec nous à l'époque qui avait une empathie avec Chipeur, et le temps à passer avec lui. Au fil du temps, avec l'aide de notre vétérinaire excellent, il a réussi à transformer Chipeur autour dans un environnement sain, chien placide. Les propriétaires nous ont demandé de trouver un nouveau foyer pour Chipeur, et il vit maintenant heureux avec sa nouvelle famille.

I recently delivered a dog to Guildford, south west of London. It is no secret that John loves Indian cuisine and as we were staying with friends near the lovely old town of Petworth, we set out to explore the local restaurants. We found "Basmati" which not only served wonderful food, but interestingly is localed under the road - yes, seriously, under the road, in old Victorian tunnels built by a French eccentric living nearby!! - J'ai récemment prononcé un chien à Guildford, au sud-ouest de Londres. Ce n'est pas un secret que John aime la cuisine indienne et comme nous étions avec des amis près de la charmante vieille ville de Petworth, nous avons décidé d'explorer les restaurants locaux. Nous avons trouvé "Basmati", qui a non seulement servi la nourriture merveilleuse, mais il est intéressant de noter localed sous la route - oui, sérieusement, sous la route, dans les anciens tunnels victorienne construite par un français vivant à proximité excentrique!

There was fog when we left home to catch the school bus - the bus stop at Montpinchon is on high ground and the rising sun lights up the fog in the valley below - Il y avait du brouillard quand nous avons quitté la maison pour attraper l'autobus scolaire - l'arrêt de bus à Montpinchon est sur un terrain élevé et les lumières du soleil levant le brouillard dans la vallée ci-dessous

When we bought the business the cattery was only part finished, and that work that had been carried out was not to a high standard. We decided to start over again, and took out what had been built. An insulated, solid floor was laid, an insulated ceiling, double glazing and individual central heating. We now offer eight high specification cat chalets in this building, with a further three elsewhere. Quand nous avons acheté l'entreprise la chatterie n'était qu'une partie terminé, et que le travail qui avait été effectué n'était pas à un niveau élevé. Nous avons décidé de recommencer, et en sortit ce qui avait été construit. Une isolée, plancher solide a été posée, un plafond isolé, double vitrage et chauffage central individuel. Nous offrons maintenant huit hauts chalets chat de spécification dans ce bâtiment, avec trois autres ailleurs.
