Today at the Turku Reptile Expo I raised a total of €208 for the conservation project of the critically endangered electric blue gecko.

Within a year I have raised a total of €523 for the project.

Uroplatus lineatus - "Lined leaf-tail gecko"

This species is found in Madagascar; living in the tropical bamboo forests of the island. To me, they resemble some kind of a cartoon character or a caricature - otherworldly creature. A very beautiful and interesting species!

Two healthy and adorable Lygodactylus williamsi babies hatched!

I had the absolute joy of witnessing the first one hatch in front of me. 🫶🏻

Incubation time 64 and 65 days.

The first Lygodactylus williamsi babies should hatch in about two weeks! I've been preparing some baby enclosures and everything else essential for them lately.

I'm really excited and can't wait for them to hatch! It's been three years since I've had any L. williamsi offspring.

The babies are extremely tiny and adorable. 🫶😍
